One of a kind GC3, Rick Shellhouse's new table.

I just choked on my diet coke while reading this....

Undisputedly Made in U S A!

Hey Glen I heard that the Chinese saw your post and for starts they wanna buy you the bus & trailer below. Then they wanna retire you so you can show them how to make the best table in the world because they can do it for the cost of an Aramith Ball Set as they wanna put a pool table in every 7-11 corner in all of Asia. As long as you supervise the design and installation. Oh and they want to turn your DVDs into a reality TV show because they think you are better looking and more fun than "Holmes on Homes" and yes you will be traveling all over the world.

LOL JK! I know you have been offered countless times and you choose to stamp it Made in USA because that's who you are. And it's people like you that made our country what it is thank you for all you do!

UNDISPUTEDLY MADE IN U S A! Thanks Glen

It's true that I've had job offerers from OUT of country table manufactures, of which I've passed on to Greg & Chad:p, but it makes me a little nervous when talking job offers when they can't pronounce "Diamond" right..."now say it one more time please...DIAMOND is the BEST...you can do it...I know you can":D

If I were to even think about doing something like this again, even if the table was on location it would run up somewhere around $4,000 for labor and cost of parts, so at that price...I'd just refer the customer to buying a Diamond instead, as everything I did to Rick's GC3 is the exact way a Diamond comes straight out of the factory anyway, so there's really no need to recreate the wheel so to speak:grin:

Written agreement to uphold

Glen, I've reviewed our written agreement regarding my table, and per the contract: "any masterful improvements completed from time of setup to eternity must be applied to my table as well."
Didn't you see the language? It's right next to your signature on the slate. May not have been there when you signed it, but it's there now ;)
Looking forward to seeing you soon in Texas, maybe I can do some begging for an improved leveling system-Ryan

Great work as always, Glen!
It isn't cost prohibitive so much as it would just be easier to buy a Diamond, but my question is about a 10-foot Anniversary pool table. I snagged one in very good original condition for $1250. What would you recommend doing to make it play its best? The table will be a challenge for me regardless, but I am interested in doing it justice when I have it installed.

Best advice, send the rails to Mark Gregory to be restored, calibrated, and pocket openings corrected:thumbup:
