One of the best pool hustler.

my two cents

If you ever read the Lions and the Lambs by Thomas Fensch, you will learn about all the old tournament players and hustlers. One of my favorite books that I own. It is out of print and kinda expensive. Before i bought a copy i had my library send it to me for free with inter library loan.I would say Don Willis the unknown Lion would be my choice.

"country"

A guy named "Country" is also mentioned frequently in these threads.

Kid Delicious probably did as well as anyone in the last ten years until he basically quit playing and everyone found out who he was.

Never heard of a guy born in Chicago named "country" l.o.l.
"country" Bob

Chicago?

Never heard of a guy born in Chicago named "country" l.o.l.

Charles "Country" Monroe was from NY, not Chicago. Great hustler, and a champion dirty 8 ball player.

Beard

best hustler.....

The original Prince of Pool, Larry Liscotti. I play out of Larry's old room World Championship Billiards, an some of the stories that are told about him put him in a class of his own. Heard once while in Cali. he dressed as a women an entered a womens event!!! Also Larry probably could have been a pro bowler or pro golfer, he played everything at a high level!!! He was a stone cold hustler in all aspects, an if he couldnt beat you he would hustle you out of your CA$H one way or another.... so ive been told :o

Titanic Thompson, hands down.

negative, tho he staked some legends he was no pool hustler compared to anyone mentioned by a long shot.........proposition gambler is another story all together such as in golf or shooting a gun, counting watermelons.....throwing keys in the "key slot" lol. etc.........
