You better make it!Tell you what, you leave me here and you've most certainly lost. I'd bank the 5 one rail into the corner so it will spot. I'd stop the cue ball on the 13, so there is no easy bump to the rail.

You have the pocket on the right. One rail soft kick at the 3. That will push the 13 off the one toward your hole, keep the cluster mostly intact, and at worst you might leave a long rail bank or lose another point. I like pushing balls towards my hole.
Simple and effective. I started winning a lot more games when I stopped trying to win the game on every shot.slow roll the 5 to the rail and snuggle the cue ball between the 1 and 13.
Patience in one pocket is more important then in any other game.Simple and effective. I started winning a lot more games when I stopped trying to win the game on every shot.
I don’t see how the 5 banks to the corner from there... I’d bump it softly to the rail on my side and tuck the cue ball into the 1/13 like measureman says.Tell you what, you leave me here and you've most certainly lost. That is too bad - but we got Hendy...Too bad San Jose Dick is not here to reply, Guy was expert at One Pocket.

And Hendy stood in for him at his 2012 induction.Dick was One pocket Hall of Famer, and regular here before his death.
Well thank for the info, I honestly though you were talking different person.
What he said. Mainly due to ease of execution. I'd be shooting it to my side of the stack, well inside of the pocket and not too hard.Bank the 4. Kill the cue ball as best you can.
The above presumes the 10 isnt dead in opponent's hole, yuh know? What he said. Mainly due to ease of execution. I'd be shooting it to my side of the stack, well inside of the pocket and not too hard.
Alternately, you could bank the 4 off the side of the 14 and roll cb up to top rail. I suck at that shot and rarely use it, but some people hit that ball well.

Yup 100%, you maintain the initiativeThin the 5 into the 13 and come off the side rail back onto the 3.

That pic's angle does make it hard to see what's on or not.The above presumes the 10 isnt dead in opponent's hole, yuh know?
