Open vs Close Bridge

I'm waiting for a 'Logical' answer first.
A closed bridge has no effect on any shot during the hit, as described and demonstrated here:

Most 3-cushion players use a closed bridge probably mostly out of custom or tradition, and because that’s how they learned or were taught by others. Also, many of them do not have low stances, so one of the main open bridge advantages does not apply (an unobscured view). Also, due to the heavier CB, the shaft might be more likely to leave an open bridge after the hit when striking the CB off center (which they tend to do a lot), and some people might find this disconcerting.
Okay. The CB is long gone before the bridge hand experiences any force from the hit.

'Pool Players' (the tradition was closed bridge) in this country did Not primarily use Open Bridge till 'Snooker' became more highlighted here!
The 'Generation' of players today were most likely taught open bridge from day 1!
'Carom' players (Not 3C, Straight-rail) use an open bridge when the CB is Very close to the OB's.
There are Tons of New 3C players from Asia in the last 10 years, why have they not adopted it?
Please explain the 'Advantage' it would have in 3C?

I am lately taking just the last 4 inches of my jump/breaker down to the Snooker size. My eyes seem to like it better or is it the part of the brain? Anyways I can feel more precise in my strike to the white. Whether it is or not is unknown
