other hobbies?

Play Golf and watch football. Would like to learn to fish though because my 9 yr old has an interest in it. I have a large pond (25 acres) in front of my house and Lake Ontario in back. I took my son out 20 times last yr. and caught nothing. The 20th time last yr, my son looked at me and asked; "so what are we doing here anyway?" One day I'll find someone that knows what they are doing and get advice. It is peaceful though.

Start by fishing shallow water, and progressively work deeper, to ensure you encompass the entire water column. (Bass in shallow water are typically active, especially early in the morning.)

There are two conditions which determine what colour of bait or lures to use: light conditions and water lucidity. In brighter light, use silvers; in medium light, use golds; and in low light, use chartreuse and black. Depending on the clarity of the water, use silvers in clear water, golds in stained water, and chartreuse in muddy water.

Hope this helps a little. I've done quit a bit of fishing when I was younger, and I've lived on the Chattahoochee River for about ten years now. Let me know if y'all catch anything :)

Bow hunting, golf, fishing trips, woodworking, Rams football, Cardinals baseball and yard work..........

Not daredevil stuff like some of the previous posts . . . . . . golf and woodworking, both of which will get more attention now that I completed my recent house move. Related to other threads, I also have fledgling collections of cues and guns. My wife would say my woodworking tools are a collection also "BECAUSE YOU NEVER MAKE ANYTHING!!" Gee, thanks, honey. :p

Hobbies? Maybe I'm a bit hyperactive, but here are a few:
aviator, banker, car nut, entrepreneur, freestyle beach frisbee player,
hedonist/hermit, mentor, philanthropist, photographer, pool shooter, race car driver, software developer, vegetarian gourmet, webmaster, writer, yogi... (probably something I'm missing).

Here's a look at a real unretouched photo of Mikie's Fun House (Ver. 2.0) which (temporarily) satisfied my fantasy to have all my toys, including my open cockpit biplane and Ferrari, in my bedroom. Yes, I agree I was a bit out of control...

How's your table doing?
They did great and it plays better than me. However, I'm ready to give you the orange crush in strip pool. July 3, 3 p.m. I provide the alcoholic beverage of your choice.

Do I have action . . . . . with YOU???

Is that a '70?

Yes, alstl. They only sold them to the public in 70 and 71. Compression dropped 1/4 point in 71 but was still listed at 425hp and 490ftlbs.
