Package from New York

If I shipped a Tasc to you in that triangle box and it got damaged.....I would be raked over the coals by you and this forum. The fact a top tier cue maker did it should not give him a free pass. These triangle boxes have been proven time and time again to be marginal at best.

I stand by my statement and I speak from experience. This box resulted in a cracked handle on a 1980's Runde Schon.

Not if you shipped it Next Day Air...I have shipped over 30 cues.. ALL NEXT DAY.. No issue... For the most part the only way I've seen damage like this is when trying to save on shipping by choosing longer transit times...

Best part is if you don't like the way they're packed you probably won't be ordering which leaves shorter wait times for those who have cues on order.. I'll take that..

It's common sense really. Don't you think if they had an issue with their shipping methods they'd be changed by now?? They dont so they wont..I stand by mine as well so we'll agree to disagree..

I've used triangle shipping boxes from usps and fedex over 95% of the time I've shipped almost 30 cues. I always bubble wrap and insert the cue in a hard cardboard tube. I get these tubes from large format printing companies and they measure 36" long, 3" diameter & are almost 1/4" thick. They are really solid & they're the leftover cardboard tubes inside of the large rolls of paper & vinyl. After securing the cue in the tube, the tube itself gets packed in the shipping box.

So far, I've never had a problem. (Knock on cardboard...) And I usually ship via fedex 2-day or usps priority. The cardboard that the usps uses is of much lower quality than fedex's.

Enough about shipping. Thanks for the compliments & I love the way my first custom-ordered cue came out. The Pete's make a fine product I would definitely order another.

I do the same and have shipped at least 40 plus cues over the years with no issues so far (knock on wood).

I agree with you entirely. Those boxes are shit...a hard tube box or even a piece of pvc pipe with a cap provide 100 times more protection for your cue. Especially when you spend as much as they charge for there "magic cues".

Pete shipped mine in a triangle case.

Inside the case the cue was in bubble wrap inside a hard tube. It would surprise me if he only ships like that when shipping abroad.

And of course, congratulations on the cue, it's a stunner!!

Absolutely

Absolutely Beautiful! I envy the fun you are going to have playing with that cue.

This is a fabulous looking cue. IMO, Tascarella cues are elite feeling and playing cues. You should enjoy playing with it. Congratulations!

That's your 1st custom ordered cue? You went right to the head of the class, huh?
Wonderful cue!! Love the colors. Enjoy!

I really like this beauty, looks like a mean playing cue, very classy cue, congrats:smile:

Gorgeous Tascarella..................congrats!!!

IMO........ the absolute best way to ship a cue of this caliber is by going to the local hardware store and cutting yourself a nice piece of 3" PVC.

" I thought Pete did just that"
...placed the cue inside of a round tube, inserted into the triangle shipping box"
