Pags vs Ulrich

Exciting match!!! What should have been 9 to 6 in favor of Ulrich has now been reduced to only a 1 point lead. Score is now 8 to 7 Ulrich but with Alex ono the table looking to tie the game.

BTW, they just announced that John Schmidt has been beaten by James Walden with a score of 11 to 1!!! The 2006 champion now has to defend his title from the loser's side.

Rack 16: Alex plays safty, lous jumps but left a shot on the 1 ball. Missed 2 ball lets Louis back onto the table. Louis pockets the tough 2 ball and ran out the rack. 9-7 Louis

Thanks, Sunny! You are by far and always will be my FAVORITE commentator!

One more game, Louis Rim! Connie's lessons are paying off :D !

Louis' safety is answered by another safety from Alex. On the 3rd rounds of safeties from both players, Louis has it locked it up this time...holding breath

Jumps after jumps! Louis jumps the 2 ball in and runs out the rack for the win! Final score 11-7 and Louis wins!!!!

Good job Louis

thats awesome. what a big win for louis. He gets my vote for the most improved performance in tournament play this year.

This is only the mildest of upsets. At Turning Stone, Ulrich beat Shane Van Boening 9-4, Stevie Moore 9-4 and Dennis Orcullo 9-6 en route to earning the hot seat. Louis brings incredibly strong form into this event, and this result probably won't shock many.

Positive Rep to you....

Thanks for the updates, they are greatly appreciated.

Take Care

Wow, never seen Ulrich play, thanks Billiardsclub. Good match, was closer than the scores indicates. I think the turning point was when Alex decided to go for the 2 instead of playing a save.

Congratulations to Louis! Big win and there's more to come - like Hilla said... this is his year!

Louis is an awesome player! His wife Connie plays damn good to! They are both class act, good people. Hopefully we will see many wins from BOTH (pick up your cue, Connie) of them in the future.

great commentary! Thanks to Sunny and all others it was great to see the updates. L's shooting good for sure right now. TO the B side for Alex and still in the running all be it a longer distance.

No shock to us Southern Californians.

Thanks for those updates.
