That case looks nice.
No way in hell I would pay for that shaft. The only high $$ shaft that would get my money is Revo (after testing and owning a few brands)

Gosh, even $550 for a shaft seems high to me. The Whyte Carbon is a really great hitting shaft.

He is nuts to price the shaft any higher then the Mezz Ignite, or the Triple 60 Whyte Carbon. Lol, even the Fedor Gorst Whyte Carbon is $670, but it is an inch longer, and has a longer taper, for anyone who might think that is an upgrade, or anyone who just wants to try Fedor's special spec shaft.

Majority of customer today knows better, plus there already hundreds of CF shafts on the market. Of course Alex team understands that, they want to be different than the rest, which makes sense to me. They do not want to compete with Predator or CueTec for the mass market, they aim to a different and smaller group of buyers.

As far as I know, most CF shaft cost less than $50 to make (shipped to your warehouse/garage), some probably less than $10. Taom chalk probably cost less than $1 to make (shipped), hell maybe even10 cents. Of course you have to buy large enough quantity. It's the branding and the trust that make it $20 chalk or $500 shaft :LOL:. Alex's branding is not yet worth $800 to me today LOL

If what you say is so true, then why do they all hit so different? I have only tried a few CF shafts, and a few custom CF shafts, but they all felt / hit a lot different. I have tried the Jacoby Black, which was a really nice hitting shaft, and I have tried the Whyte Carbon, and that shaft was a game changer for me. Never felt so much power and feedback off of the cue ball, and such an amazing hit before, or after trying that shaft. Did not even have to get used to it. Loved it right away. Very hard to imagine any other CF shaft hitting as nice, or having as much power / feedback, off of the cue ball, as the Whyte Carbon.

My opinion doesn't mean much, but as soon as I saw it, I immediately thought it was a Rhino shaft. Plus they offer all the same shaft sizes.

Even without the Black pad, the Rhino still looks thicker to me, lol.

They modified a bit that's why it hit different. That's the whole point, if it makes you feel good, you will pay $500 - $800 for it. The fact is that with a $2500 butt and $800 shaft, you're still a 500s Fargo who got beaten down left and right everywhere leagues and tournaments though by some 600s and 700s play with a $30 cue from the 90s :LOL:
