Spade's comment about her style was not apparent to me about him "plugging his buddy", whoever that is. I do believe Spade also said nice things about her game in the same post! What seemed to be an innocent question by the OP about a player will now meander into some sort of online bickering between you, Spade, and others who won't resist the urge to join in the fracas. Pam's game seems a bit raw at times, but she's definitely got the chops to keep up with the WPBAers. She also happens to be a sweetheart and is all sorts of adorable. I was bummed when she dropped out of the pool scene, so its nice to see her jumping back into the fray.
Just met pamela tonight... Didn't get to see her play. She was at my spot with a couple of other guys acting like newbies. I can smell a hustler a mile away (when I'm sober 
). Wish I could have met her under better circumstances... I have lots of respect for great players, but not much respect for those who take advantage of others who have less ability.

just to add... I guess that's just pool perhaps and events like what I witnessed tonight opened my eyes a little to the darker realm of pool.
Rubbish and filth is what I'd describe tonigh. C'mon... you cant walk in a pool hall slapping a cue around like a C player (no offense
) asking to play 50 bucks a set and at the same time have the ability knock out players like shawn putnam. I'll play for a beer here and there but wtf. Seriously, wtf.
Events like this are why many towns and cities completely ban pool rooms and perhaps why the pros who've earned their stripes are barely making 40k a year because the sport is tainted.

Pam's got game for sure. Unlike much women's pool I've watched, you can find Pam drillin' a bank to get shape and then out. She knows that the best safe is your opponent in the chair.
Just to set the record straight, Pam and Josh never did get to the alter and make it official.
Also, Pam did have a child in March, shortly before the SBE in VF. However, that was her second child.

say what! so I guess its OK for someone watching her slapp balls around thinking that they can take advantage of her is OK. come on, anybody paying for 50 has the same thing in mind. you can always adjust the game or not play,
At the SBE this year SVB was giving her the 5 out I think they stopped playing after no winner. that's all part of pool,,
Pool rooms for the most part have become a much friendlier environment than say 20yrs ago there are many hi end pool bar and grill type places that simply did not exist in the past. the smokey old pool hall is on the way out. pool has grown in size many time over during this time .
you dont have to look far to see that with APA TAP and BCA memberships
there will always been a gambling aspect to pool as in many other mono on mono sports,
I have played Pamela she beat me 7-1 made 3 9s on the break and left the 1-9 for herself in another rack . that was in a weekly $20 turny
I think she finished third. she has always been a someone I like to watch play and play against . she is still very young and will mature just like we all do, so its ok to me if she lays down to get a game , because who would want to play her when she is raining 9 balls in from everywhere
she will get past that one day.
