Spade said:Pam's style seems a bit unpolished....
Spade's comment about her style was not apparent to me about him "plugging his buddy", whoever that is. I do believe Spade also said nice things about her game in the same post! What seemed to be an innocent question by the OP about a player will now meander into some sort of online bickering between you, Spade, and others who won't resist the urge to join in the fracas. Hopefully Spade won't bite.JAM said:Why is that? Because she's not a Dragon worshiper like you?
Every post you make on this forum is a direct plug for your buddy, either pulling for him or trying to make all others look bad. Shame on you.

Your opinion about his post had nothing to do with this thread and I am sure was not ovbious to most that post here. Perhaps next time you can express your off-topic differences in PM?
TIA.

Precisely my point for not making your displeasure public.
Carry on...
I was going to comment on this, but the more I read your comment, the more I guess I don't completely understand it. Would you be willing to explain what you mean by Pamela's style being a bit unpolished?Spade said:Pam's style seems a bit unpolished, maybe a good player could help her some. But she plays with alot of fierceness and killer instinct which wins her alot of matches. glad to see her doing well

See http://www.pooltour.com/showplayer.php?879
She won her first 5 events on our regional tour back in 2005. She has a fluid stroke and a ton of confidence.
just to add... I guess that's just pool perhaps and events like what I witnessed tonight opened my eyes a little to the darker realm of pool.
Rubbish and filth is what I'd describe tonigh. C'mon... you cant walk in a pool hall slapping a cue around like a C player (no offense) asking to play 50 bucks a set and at the same time have the ability knock out players like shawn putnam. I'll play for a beer here and there but wtf. Seriously, wtf.
Events like this are why many towns and cities completely ban pool rooms and perhaps why the pros who've earned their stripes are barely making 40k a year because the sport is tainted.
