Sold and paid for.

Up for sale is a beautiful cocobolo sneaky made by Pat Diveney in 2007 with two of Pat's lakewood shafts with matching weights. Shafts alone will cost >$400 from Pat.

Check out the link for pics:
http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=108557

Specs:
  • Straight grain maple into flame cocobolo
  • Shaft 1: 12.75 mm, 3.4 oz, Tiger Sniper tip (slight bluing) - softer hit
  • Shaft 2: 12.70 mm, 3.4 oz, Talisman Pro M tip - hard, crisp hit
  • Butt is 16.2 oz
  • 3/8x11 G-10 epoxy pin with thin white phenolic joint and butt cap
  • Balance point is 18.5-18.75 inches from butt-end
  • Straight together and apart on both shafts
  • Beautiful matching custom cocobolo joint protectors are included for butt and both shafts

Cue is in great condition just like when I got it and exactly as pictured. Shafts have no dings/dents and only one has a tinge of blue from use. There are minor marks at the joint facing as can be expected on cues with a big pin and wood-to-wood joint.

The combination of G-10 pin and the dense, stiff lakewood shafts makes for a firm and yet responsive hit imo. This will make an ideal playing cue for someone looking for a no-frills player with a great hit.

I prefer a linen wrap over wrapless/leather cues so am letting this go to finance one with my preferred specs.

Up

Bump for more cash and trade offers.

Looking for sneakies/plain janes/merry widows with delrin buttcap.

Revised price! $550!!
I can't believe your pricing it @ 450. someone buy this @450 before I have to!

Man I thought for a second you were offering me $550 for it:thumbup: I thought it would have sold too at this price but the market seems kinda tough right now.

Cue is still available.

As it happened, the deal fell through because the fellow AZber wants a lighter cue (this cue is 19.5 oz with a balance point of 18.75 inches above butt-cap) and didn't see the weight posted on the first post.

So bump!:)

Stan, sorry for my blindness.

AZ'ers, don't hesitate to pick this up from Stan he is a great person and a lot faster at responding than I ever could be. Best wishes on a fast sale.

Again I apologize,
Greg

Greg, no apologies needed and it's not an issue. I have certainly been guilty too of 'blindness' on more than a few occasions:) Thanks for the bump!

Wow!!

This is a MONSTER player! Pat built it for me a while back and it hits 'em solid! The Lake Salvage shafts are the NUTZ!!! Here are some pics of it when he built it.

SP cue

I think this is a heck of a deal on a premium SP cue with 2 lakewood shafts. Pat Diveney builds some very nice cues. I saw a couple of his high end cues at the US Open and they looked awesome. Good luck with the sale and if I was in the market for a SP cue i'd take this one.

Thanks a bunch Richard for posting up some more pics of the cue. The lakewood shafts hit very solid and nice and I still have one of them on my playing cue. Hope someone will pick it up and enjoy it as much as I did.

Dennis, the buyer just got in touch with me earlier today and payment would be made this Fri or Sat. Sorry for not getting back earlier and good luck on your hunt for a Diveney - I think there's another person selling one with a maple shaft and a lakewood one. Thanks very much for the offer!:)
