Brent,
Appreciate all the updates along the way and the finished product looks amazing. The journey to getting this cue was a lot of fun, Brent is great to work with.
I grew up shooting an 80's Joss that I still use to this day...and Brent matched the Joss butt specs to this cue so that it would be pretty seamless as far as thickness.
Looking forward to ordering another one.
let me guess
anything to do with this???? ..........
:scratchhead: :idea2:
thanks steve, im just a hobbyist :grin:Brent, Looks great!! Nice job taking the pictures.
thanks tom, yes it's a compound taperGreat craftsmanship, superior. Love the way on the butt sleeve how the tails of the butterfly flow into upper ring work veneers, the round of the fly points right at the lower ring work veneers and the parting of the flys point towards the other bottom ring work venners. Great finish brings out the colors very well. Is it an optical illusion or is it a twin tapered butt?
thank youMan! What a stunning looking cue.
Is the ebony cored ? All ebony would be pretty heavy I think.
What is finished weight with shaft attached ?
Awesome looking cue.
Yes Brent, I'm thinking about going that direction.
Patrick
