Pay Pal dispute.

For what, lying about winning the Pay Pal dispute to make it look like
he was refunding out of the goodness of his heart?

For sending me 25 pieces of unusable chalk?

For making me pay $43 to send the chalk back?

I'm sure his return policy is much different for his high end cue buyers.

You of course being the astute online buyer you are, fully investigated his return policy before you purchased, making the responsibility for the refund misunderstanding fall squarely in Chady's lap.

Blows my mind that Chady would offer you a refund before you purchased and then change his policy after the deal. I've always found him to be scrupulously honest and pretty darn careful.

Anyway, after he lied and offered you a guarantee that he didn't honor you felt justified in claiming he provided you with a false address (and never apologizing for that when you found it it was actually you misunderstanding a spoof eMail)?

Kevin, the first post I made didn't include the item I purchased or a name. People wanted to know and it eventually came out.

The first answer I received from the seller suggested that the chalk was good (yes, I am a liar) and that the only problem was that I had buyers remorse. Not the case.

The second sentence said that he didn't do refunds on international orders.

The last sentence stated that I could take it to Pay Pal if I wanted to, he didn't care.

So it is my fault for not checking on a return policy. I assumed that I would be getting what was initially promised.

Like I said, apparently he has a different return policy for people who spend more money.

I had received a fraud email that coincided with Pay Pal cancelling the dispute. Considering the hassle I had to go thru for something that could or should have been straight forward, obviously I considered the possibility of someone using a phony address to make returns impossible a possibility.

Do I owe an apology for that, quite possibly I do.

Maybe I should get one as well. For him saying that he won the PP dispute and the possibility of others questioning my integrity or motives.

I only get a day off here and there. I have a few other responsibilities around home that need taking care of rather than corresponding with PP thru emails and the phone.

As far as I can see at this point, I lost, he has the money and if the package is still in transit like I was told, he will have the chalk back too.

If he needs the money that bad he can keep it and the chalk.

When you start a thread like this, some will believe you and others won't, thats the chance a person takes when you hit enter.

If you feel that your friend needs an apology then I will give him one.

Chady, I apologize for assuming that you would give me a phony address to get out of returning my money and putting your integrity in question.

Maybe I should have been treated better in the first place and there would have been no need for a dispute or a thread, right?

I have the Pay Pal email and PM from Chady so can prove at anytime the words that I have typed.

Its no longer necessary as I said, I really don't care much any longer.

He has the money, probably will have the package soon and an apology.

Let the thread die and the best part is, I learned a lesson.

And that is, I am a huge dumb a ss for paying that much for chalk.
