If his video had bad info in it - no one would but it. Eye placement is important in overcoming the illusions that make you miss.

$$$ for a DVD isn't the point - it's the tools you get from it. For many people, eye placement techniques are new info - which is why they buy the info. The reason why many instructors couldn't sell penicillin in a whore house is because they keep releasing the same info over and over in new DVDs. If your next DVD set has stuff in it that no one has been exposed to, I'm sure you'll do well.

I can't help but detect a lil jealousy in your post above - saying that Gene is a great salesman... that's implying his info isn't good. I think if you reviewed the info, I think I know you well enough to know you'd like it.

Its that everyone is looking for that Holy Grail that will make them a better pool player without putting the time in on the table. There is no magic that can make a better player just knowledge,applying the knowledge, and practice / practice / practice. We all appreciate the knowledge you have given to pool and billiards. Dr Dave, This is not the Holy Grail but it might be the next best thing. If you try to shoot a gun and the sight is off. You would starve if your food depended on that gun. Same with pool. If the eyes are not lined up right you will probably have the same problem because you won't be able to buy the food. I wonder if that's why some players are so skinny. Just kidding. Not at all. I haven't seen his stuff yet, so I can't judge it. All I know is the price and run length. That's what I commented on.

I think if you reviewed the info, I think I know you well enough to know you'd like it.

You're probably right. I appreciate and understand how important body, head, and eye alignment are, not to mention consistency with these things (the most important part).

Of all the people that have dropped the $$$ on this video lately there sure aren't very many trying to help geno sell anymore of them. Where are the people that have purchased on of these in the last few weeks and posted if it helped or not. Seems like many more "Hey I just purchased the video and can't wait" than there are "Hey the video just came in and my game is now on another level". Just wondering how it is going?

Randy - They are all playing so good right now that the action is nonstop. Probably forgot all about AZB and are glued to the table.

But seriously, it does take a little bit of time to adjust to certain shots with this system. I think I put in 3+ hours a day for 2 or 3 days before I started seeing the shots right away.

I love the comment from Gene that this is like having another club in your bag. For me, it's like 2 or 3 additional clubs as it's really increased my safety game, my cut shots and it's stopped me from trying to get perfect shape on tougher shots as I know I can make a little harder shot without problem. It's the "keep it simple, stupid!" technique.

You are truly blessed with amazing marketing and sales skills. I think most people, regardless of their reputation, would be mocked if they tried to sell a 40-minute instructional pool DVD for $70; but the masses appear to be flocking to your door. I am impressed and in awe. I think I need to hire you as a sales consultant when my next set of DVDs comes out.

I like the way you think. Maybe it's because I'm from Louisiana also ... I grew up in New Orleans (I went to Brother Martin High School and UNO). Are you going to be at Buffalo Billiards around Christmas time? I plan to visit my family ... they live in Metairie. It would be fun to meet. Maybe other AZB'rs in the New Orleans area can hook up with us also for a little pool party ... New Orleans style.

We send them out the next day after the order comes in. It usually take 3 to 5 days. Don't show this to Larry or I'll never be able to beat him. No, just kidding. When you show this to Larry he will know exactly how I played so good. Larry plays awful good as everybody in the whole world knows. What this will do for him is give him that fine tuning. Sometimes even a guy like Larry gets down and the shot doesn't look quite right. This won't happen once he gets a look at this and starts to apply it. I'll never forget when I first met Larry Nevel. I was playing real good at the time and here comes a friend of mine Phil Noble. He had this kid with him. Phil talked me into giving him a spot, I think it was the 7 ball on the barbox.I don't even remember how much we played for, maybe Larry will remember, And we played back and forth for awhile. I think I quit even and glad for that. I knew then that Larry was going to be a force to reckon with from then on. And he was and still is. He has one of the most powerful games on the planet at his top game.Give me a call Larry. Thanks Danny Geno...........

Positive feedback like this is great. All these guys in Phoenix that learned Perfect AIM are going to throw the ratings out of wack a little. I know when they seen Frank Robartz play in the Desert Classic Tour they jacked him up to a 10 the next day. I hope you and some of the PERFECT AIM players get to win a few tournaments before they jack up their rating too. I wish I was there to see it. It's gonna be alot tougher in the near future go to Phoenix and win. These guy down there already played awful good. Look out in Phoenix because right now , and I seen a little bit of this before I left. The 8 or 9 you might be matching up with is now really a 10 or better. Just nobody knows it yet. Go get'em guys. Not only the 80$, but having to open that damn account took years off my life, not to mention Im not really big on having my bank acount info out there flying around cyber space. Yeah, the PayPal website has a real minor-league feel to it. And, they have been in some hot water before. You might minimize your exposure by closing your account as soon as your transaction has cleared, provided you don't intend to use it again.

BTW, the only receipt/acknowledgement I got when I ordered the DVD was the PayPal receipt. Is this correct?

So far there has been no problems and if there ever was we would fix the problem quickly. We're trying to keep it real simple. My PR guy has been using PAYPAL for years with no problems. He assured me that the way it's set up is as safe as it gets.

Unfortunately I didn't have much time today, so I could only practice for one hour. As I said before, I already found my ideal position per accident a couple of months ago, but I couldn't reproduce it. Well... today I did it again!
At first it didn't quite work when I tried to do what Gene shows in his video. I made cut shots more often, but it still didn't look right. I trusted "the system" and made the shot. It was ok, but not what I wanted. So I went on to the long straight in shots, and again I couldn't find the perfect spot. At one point it looked ok, but not perfect. After about 15 minutes I found out, that I had to do something extra. I had to turn my head more to the left in order to see the line perfectly. I am right handed and left eye dominant, so it may look a little awkward, when I turn my head like that, but it helps a lot! I could play the shots so accurately that I could tell which part of the pocket I will hit. When I get it right, it almost feels like a different game. But sometimes I don't get it right and I have difficulties getting my head in the right spot, and it takes a little time and more concentration to adjust. I think I just need to practice this until it becomes natural. I hope it wasn't just a good day for me and that I can find the spot any day on any shot with this method.
The thing is to understand the idea Gene is trying to teach. The eyes are so important in this game (I'd say more important than anything), and anybody who disagrees just doesn't know how perfect a shot can look. ...sorry!
