Perfect Aim Video and Lesson Phoenix

Take it easy............

LOL.... talk about beating a dead horse. coco is right. "perfect aim is BS. all ya have to do is pay strict attention to cue position and your aim will be true. if you want me to put that on a CD and send it to you, it'll cost $19.95+ tax. ;)

Hi there sausage,
Take it easy. I'm just having a little trouble hooking up with Shankster8. He finally gave me his number so I can just call him myself tomorrow. Believe me, I want to get ahold of him just like everyone else I have called back that has contacted me. I enjoy talking to players that are trying to improve their games.

Have you ever played phone tag with someone. This has kind of been like this so far.

If you had a list of 10 friends you could count on and I was your friend you would know that I'd be the first one you'd call if you need help. I'm a pretty dependable guy.

Perfect Aim is great and if there is anyone that is having trouble I want to help them for sure.
Have a great day Geno.............................

I purchased this DVD based partially on Gene's representations that he would answer any questions I might have. Well, it confuses me that, after purchasing the DVD, I can't get an answer to a simple yes or no question online. Instead, I get a reply saying call me. Then I call several times, clearly leaving voice messages, and telephone numbers, and I get no reply. Then I see Gene online and try to ask my question online again. Anyway, I think I've tried so hard to comprehend Gene's "system" that maybe I do. And, Me thinks his lesson is simply an obscure means of instructing us to center the cue between our eyes.

By the way, I measured the diameter of a cueball today and it is 2 1/4 inch (I previously thought it was 2 1/8 inch.). That is exactly my eyespan. So, when I'm making a center cueball hit, my eyes are perfectly aligned with the edges of the cueball, and I am in what Gene calls "Perfect Aim", I guess. Anyone with a wider eyespan, say 2 1/2 inch, which was the widest of six people I measured this AM, might be out of so-called "Perfect Aim" by 1/8", as I reason things. I see nowhere in the DVD, however, where it is explained how to compensate for that 1/8 inch. So I guess his secret message is to center the cue between your ears, you nincompoop, and pay me $80.

I may misunderstand things, but this all could have been avoided with a simple yes or no yesterday. But, now I am convinced that Gene had renegged on his assurances that he would answer my questions.

I'm just a diddly on this forum, but I suggest that the rest of you proceed with caution regarding "Perfect Aim".

Thx for this post i wanted to see this dvd myself but didn't want to really spend that much money for something that i already know Thx to Joe Tucker. And he gives this info for free on youtube.

a long ways off base

Actually the shankster so far misconstrued what is on the DVD that I suspected it was deliberate and decided not to reply to him. The video isn't about centering the cue stick or cue ball between your eyes. According to the shankster's figuring a thousand yard stare should have the edges of both balls in perfect focus. In reality with a thousand yard stare nothing is in focus.

Buy the DVD, don't buy it, but don't base your decision on a post that is way off base.

Hi there,
Hi there The ConArtist,
I can guarantee that Perfect Aim is not being taught by anybody unless they have learned it from me. Joe Tucker is a great teacher from what I see and I watched some of has stuff.

Perfect Aim not only explains the problem but shows you how to correct it. It's pretty simple. Someday everyone will be teaching Perfect Aim. It will be old hat...

Have a great day Geno.............

Perfect Aim CD Problem

I received the Perfect Aim CD and it won't work on my Windows system. It says the DVD Decoder is not installed on my system and when I tried to get the MPEG-2 Decoder it wouldn't install.
I talked to Gene but they have no way of helping me clear this up so right now it's not doing me much good. He helped me some over the phone but it didn't totally register and I need the CD to see the shots.
Have any of you had this problem and how did you fix it? I would appreciate any help you can give me.
Thanks, PastPrime.

You won't be able to play most DVD's without an encoder. Get WinDVD or InterDVD or some sort of DVD reading software. Just because you may have a DVD drive in your computer, that does not mean you can watch DVD's. Windows media player does NOT come with a DVD encoder.

Totally not Geno's fault. Once you get one, many of which you can purchase online, you should be fine.

Perfect Aim CD Problem

Well, Mojoe, I counted my CD's that I have bought for programs and I have 61 of them and they all work on my Computer. I hate to think that I have to buy another program to make Perfect Aim available to me or to hire someone to find a Decoder and install it that will work with Perfect Aim.
That's why I was hoping someone could help me work the problem out. As I said before it's not available to me at all right now.
Thanks, PastPrime.

Gene's DVD plays on my Vista machine, Windows Media Player and Power DVD. You might try all of the players that are on your machine if you haven't already and check for any updates. I don't remember if it was this DVD or another one but I did have to get the latest updates recently to get a DVD to play.

I see 2 also..................

do you see two cueballs when you aim? I do will this dvd help with that?

Hi there TheConArtist,
When you point your finger at an object that is farther away you see 2 fingers. The same thing if you look at an object ball past the cue ball you will see 2 balls. Somethimes they look like they are melted together. But seldom look like 2 seperate balls. This is just the way the eyes work.

With the finger pointing is a way to find out your dominent eye. Nothing on the planet will change the way the eyes work naturally.

What you are seeing with your eyes is what makes this game of pool so challengeing. If you don't know how to position the eyes right there are too many curves on the edges of balls and so many different illusions like your seeing 2 cue balls that it becomes really hard to figure out.

Perfect Aim will show you how to put the eyes in that Perfect Poisition. Also it will teach you how to figure out how to get to the correct position on every shot even with all the illusions that are created.

I just got done shooting the new version of Perfect Aim. Anyone that orders a video after tomorrow will recieve the new video. Now it will be easier than ever to understand how and why Perfect Aim works so good.

The editing will be done in about a week so they can look for about 10 days to recieve the disc.

I hope that answered your question. Have a great day Geno..........

Thx Joe Tucker has a new product called The Magic Eye that sorta helps with me seeing two cueball. Rather then just seeing one cueball and one objectball this gives me an advantage to aim both eyes, sorta hard to explain but it works like a charm.

Con, can you tell me where you found Joe's magic eye trainer? I've heard of it before but his site doesn't have it listed in the product section. I would like to find some info on it.

He has them made but he hasn't made a video up for it yet. I contacted him thru youtube and his email and he sent me one. It is great believe me, so do what i did and get ahold of him ASAP. It deals with alignment has nothing to do with the aim but if you are aligned perfect to the shot then the aim part is simple.

I sure hope you will have the new DVD at the Amateur and Professional Galveston Tournament, September 11-20th.

Otherwise, you will have to give me an in person lesson on Perfect Aim.

I do give a money back guarantee with the private lesson. If it is not the best thing you have ever seen since you have been playing pool there is no charge and the video is free. 812 private lessons and to some pros and everyone has paid with some paying more in like a tip. This is strong.

When are you coming to Albuquerque? Sounds like you've been all around us....let me know via pm and I'll take a lesson!
:p

Perfect Aim Will be Back on the Road To Galvaston and the World Tournament.

Hi there Joey,
Just finished shooting all the scenes yesterday. Tomorrow I take the raw video to get it edited. It turned out really good this time. The quality of the cameras and the new information is a big plus.

I'm really excited about the new info Never before seen on how to know exactly how much of the object ball your hitting with one small measurement. Just like Perfect Aim, anyone can do it. It's real simple.

It's still kind of unbelievable to me the response to Perfect Aim and all. It seems like almost everyone that bought the original video can't hardly wait to get the new one. Well, the feeling was mutual, I couldn't hardly wait to get it done. Now I can literally get the Perfect Aim show on the road.

Friday I'm going to The Shooting Star Casino to play in their 8-ball tourny. I'm putting a push on the editors to try and get Perfect Aim done by Monday. That way I'll have copies as soon as Monday I hope. Then it's on to Galvaston.

It's a long drive and I want to get there a few days ahead if possible to rest a little before the tournaments get started. I thought I was going to get some rest at home here but it has been kind of tough. I've given about 9 lessons in the last week here inbetween shooting the video.

They say if you do what you enjoy doing you will never work a day in your life. There is no replacemant for the gratitude I get from a one on one lesson when a player I'm teaching Perfect Aim sees it for the first time. That big smile and a HOLLY COW are so huge.

Anyway, I'm real excited to take Perfect Aim back on the road again. I also miss the action. In Wisconsin pool kind af dies during the summer. There isn't even a pool hall in the town I'm from. Kind of a shame.
Maybe I can fix that problem someday but for right now I'm back on my mission.

I can't wait to see Galvaston. It's an island I guess. Looks kind of cool on the map. Looks like a great place for a pool tournament.

I'm sure our conversation about Perfect Aim will get personal and will somehow I'm sure end up on the pool table. Sounds like alot of fun.

Have a great week Geno........................
