WAWACUE, I have to disagree with you. I don't think anyone who own a cue will send you a cue with out receiving money first. You are right, what if its a scam? I hope I never find out.

Just want to let you know, I have send over 3K many of times and all my purchases has been great. Made a few friends here on the forum too.

Lots of business are done with honor and and trust here on this forum. You don't hear people complaining that they got cheated on a daily basis.

I still believe there are good people out there. And I still hope Aaron will step up and clear this up. I just talk to him today and was about to send out 2 cues to him to refinish.

God bless all the wonderful and honest people here on the forum. Glad we still can do transactions in the $thousands by just "trust."

Glad I could jump in the Fun. Ricky, You have been rude with e-mails I could post and none understanding. You asked for special things to be performed and I did my best to get it done fast and keep you in the loop the whole way through. I have the e-mails I will post if theres any question. I had customers cues in the shop that come before you. He did not send me any money. We traded even and then these changes were throwen in at the last minute. Had I not done these changes for you you would have already had it. The reason your tracking# was bad was because I e-mailed it to you before I left for the Post Office. Well, when I got there we had to use a different form then the one I already filled out. The date sent when the cue arrives will be the same as when you got your e-mail. I had a 2 day e-mail discussion with you over shipping stuff. I knew then I was probably dealing with a weirdOOOOO. You wanted to pay my shipping and wanted me to pay for yours????? It took me 2 days to get you to understand that you would ship your cue and pay for it and so would I. WOW what was the deal there??? Get a grip, your cue has been on its way and you my friend need to settle down! You threatened this thread 2 days after you thought the cue should have been shipped. Post when it arrives the way you asked it to!!! You treated me with rudeness from word GO!! I treat people how they treat me. After you recieve your cue and it was completed the way you asked, please do not contact me for anymore business. By the way, Who the Fu@$# is pianpoon LOL! That says a lot. Got a lot to say about somebody you should get there username right LOL! Johnfan , Send your cues. ( You will be fine!! ) Thanx Aaron 815-243-1101

Sure

When I get home and back to the office I will do so!! Your cue has been out for a week!! or so!! Not my fault you live in Indonesia. Thanx Aaron 815-243-1101

i think i am missing something... can you put tracking on usps packages that leave the country?

i was just at the post office today, and i shipped to canada.. and they told me i cant put delievery confirmation on it because its a us only thing??

so to make a long story short.. i put insurance on it and filled out the appropriate customs forms and sent it on its way..

i guess there is always fedex and ups..lol.. both those services stink..

Thats what you said 3 days ago. It does not matter if I live in Africa, Indonesia or anywhere in this world. You knew this from the beginning and you accepted this deal. All I need is a tracking number to be sure that you actually send something!!

YOUR PERSONAL E-MAILS TO ME THROUGH ARE DEAL HAVE BEEN UNKIND,DEMANDING, SO FRET, THATS YOUR CHOICE. I 100% GUARANTEE YOU IT HAS BEEN OUT. YOUR CUE IS COMINGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!

Just curious. If you send a cue or other item overseas via UPS, Fedex, or whoever, and it gets bogged down in customs, is a deal no longer good if there was a timeliness requirement, and if so, who gets stuck? Do you get your money back from the shipping company? I've never shipped overseas, but have a couple of friends who do all the time. The only thing I would worry about is the timeliness of the delivery, and that I might have to wait a long time to get something.

well, i can only say that i have had multiple transactions with aaron and all have gone great. even on a trade that i thought he may have not done as well as me he never said anything and has always done what he has said he would do. aaron is not the easiest person to contact, he has a very busy schedule and i completely understand because so do i. and let's face it, the usps isn't that fast in this country, let alone anywhere else. i have been expecting some cues from another member that we both thought would get here on friday. they did not show on friday and not today as well. so now with the holiday i won't see them until tuesday at the latest and i accept that as the nature of the system.
i told aaron he would get the check from my bank on our latest transaction on wednesday (which is when the bank said it would arrive) and he did not get it till friday and not a peep. another check that was sent out the same day only to california got there on thursday, go figure!
all this just to say i will continue to do business with aaron.

Its ok if your doing business with Thingie or a couple others that understand these things. If the guy can't spell do not do business with him overseas. It for the most part is a royal Pain in the ASS!!.Just my opinion!! Thanx Aaron 815-243-1101

shipping overseas

i found this out also, last year
once the package leaves the US it can no longer be tracked, seems rediculous to me
all i was told, was that it was somewhere between usa & spain
lot of help that is, huh
i shipped a cue & case to a guy in spain , post office, not ups
took almost 4 weeks to get there
person at post office also mentioned to me , that since 9/11, the containers they load on the ships, sit around longer than they used to, waiting for inspections and such
sign of the times???

I have received cues in China sent from the US using USPS Global Express service with guaranteed 5 day delivery and received them in 5 days. You get a tracking number but it only shows when it left the US. I think this service is only available to certain countries, but not sure.

I have also recently sent a cue to the US using the same service from the China post office. Left Shanghai on Monday, received in Texas on Friday. No online tracking, but can be tracked by post office if lost or something.

don't want to get off the topic but i got a cue from Aaron paid in advance and the transaction was flawless. the tracking number was right. anyway thanks aaron

Customs wait

Until customs releases the package the carrier can't deliver it. And no sooner than 3-5 days in customs is not unusual for a next day delivery regaurdless of the carrier Add another 2-5 days for the priority service and you are looking at another week wait. Let us know something then. One thing that is uncontrolable is a custom houses ability to speed a box through customs. I have gone as far as to talk to the actual customs agents on duty that are assigned to insure everything is as described in the shipping documents. No sense agonizing!
Till then good luck
Nick

OK...my story.....

I bought a cue from overseas and it was shipped express with a tracking number. Cue did not show up...held in customs. Seller agreed to make good on the item after 2 weeks waiting. Then, just before we agree to straighten things out, the cue arrived, having been released from customs. Everything is good and everyone is happy....until I receive a $100 fee/fine (from US Fish and Wildlife) for the restricted materials in the inlays (abalone...a certain type) a week later.

I understand your frustration, but I personally believe Painpool shipped the item. Customs is the wild card. 3 or 4 days is not enough time for an overseas shipment.

hmmm.. here is a story...

happened to a local poolroom owner who sold alot on ebay.. appently , he got an email from somebody that wanted buy a buch of cues.. maybe 3 thousand worth.. they were from indonesia.. he talked to them on the phone, got all their credit card information, verified that it was all legit with the credit card company.. ordered the cues.. got them all packed up..and he shipped them out to his customer in indonesia.. about a week and a half later.. he gets a call from the credit card co. the card was stolen and it was fraudulently used to purchase he things.. and that they wanted to the money back.. actually.. they told him he had no choice since they were reversing the charges.. so then low and behold.. he was screwed out his money and the cues.. and he did everything right.. and went above and beyond to check them out and make sure it was all legit.. well.. for him.. finding that he had been screwed didnt go over well.. and the worste part was. nothing he could do.. well.. another week and a half go by... the mail man comes to the pool room, with the box he shipped to indonesia.. appently they were held up in customs for about a week. and then DENIED to be shipped.. so customs returned them to the sender.. it was unbelieveable that they were returned to him so he didnt loose his ass.. and the worste part was there was absolutley no reason for them not to make it through, they were all catalog model cues... lol.. damn he was a lucky s o b..

Thanks Aaron for your kind words.

I haven't had a problem dealing with Aaron and will not hesitate to continue to do so.

Although the last cue that i got from him got stuck at the customs, we were both fine with it as we had a good line of communication.

So i urge Rick72 and Aaron, to chill. the USPS does take some time to get stuff processed, like the cue that sat in the post office for 13 whole days before it got shipped out and me and the seller didn't go out and accuse each other of fraud. So chill guys!

Have a great weeked :)
