Thanks for the post. If you have the original, you may want to contact Mary Kenniston who has a large collection of vintage photographs that she shares online. This would be a good addition to her collection if you could get a sharper image of each photo. Mary has a page on Facebook.

I did a lot of copying pictures back in the 80s and 90s . I had a special lens that went on my SLR camera and a contraption called a copy board , to hold the camera still and at a 90 degree angle , to be able to focus the lens perfectly . I took a pic of a photograph yesterday with my phone and it was about 70% to 80% of the quality of the original. {which actually is pretty amazing since the lens I used to use, was about 500 dollars in 1980s money, and I just hand held the phone.} {A comedy special could be written about me trying to hold the phone still, on a level plane, and pushing the button all while my body decided it wanted to do the Hullabaloo.}

Thanks for reply! I can definitely get some better photos. 👍🏾
Thank you for sharing. I'm looking for Geese, and I can't recognize which one he is in the photos, unless he's the one sitting in the audience towards the bottom left. I grew upon D.C. pool and know all of the local players. I used to work at Champion Billiards in Silver Spring, but we traveled to all the pool spots. I can't remember the name of that one out in Lanham where Sterling used to hang out. And then there was, of course, Bill and Billie's in Glen Burnie, Champions in Arlington.

Oh, how I wish I could see them closer. Brings back a ton of memories. Tom-Tom is there. Both Boggs brothers are there. Billy Stephen, without the "s," is there. Aw, Danny Green. All of pool's super stars of that era are there. Man, I must go over to Larry Steele's pool room on Central Avenue and look at this closer. This really is meaningful to me. I'd love to see their faces closer up. Who is Kevin Botts is that Left-Handed Kevin, or is Kevin Spells left-handed Kevin? Wow! Cicero Murphy and Country, what a photo that must be. I wish I could see it closer. I can't find it.

Interestingly, Jose Parica won it again in 2003. Tom Wirth won it in 1992 and Parica won it in 1993.

I know Geese's stance, and I think, maybe, this might be him at the top wearing the off-white shirt.
