That's Gary Spaeth and Chris MacDonald flanking Jimmy Reid. I'm not sure who that other guy is, most have been a backer (Sherm). Julie Jay was Chris' very popular girl friend, the "Road Woman."

Nice bridge, eh?

Someone on f/b took a photo of this photo that was recently put up in a local bar when they redecorated the place.

EDIT: Ooops, I just saw someone else beat me to it. Oh well, it's worth a second look.

This thread has been a ton of fun, with a lot of pictures rarely, if ever seen. And certainly not as part of a single thread.

For those unaware, AZer Bill Porter has a boatload of pictures also, from earlier times.

Are there more pictures to be added? A lot of AZers would like to see them if you have any.

Thanks to all who have posted in this thread so far. Much appreciated.

Ron Kollman , Cincy Ohio not sure of his stats,
*bank pool champ ***** i heard******

ron owned a pool room, hilltop billiards, now closed
he had a bunch of old pics framed hanging in the hall
one particulary interesting picture was donnie anderson,
i think ron said it was from the early '60's

i'll check with ron and see if he's still got them

The pictures so far in this thread have been a wonderful, however brief, glimpse into part of our history,
seeing some of our best and greatest during the glory years.

We would love to see more. If you have'em, please put them up. Thanks!

I just came across the earliest (youngest) picture of Luther Lassiter I have seen in quite some time.

He is second from left.....with dark hair!

also, ........Jimmy Moore, Willie Mosconi, Richard Riggie, Erwin Rudolph, Irving Crane, etc.

Does anyone have a picture to add of a world class picture in his/her younger days?
