Can you post 3 to 5 things that make your cues stand out? If someone wanted to buy a cue and asked you to tell them a few things about how they're made, etc, and you could only give 1 word answers, what would those 3-5 words be?

Hey dave sorry it taken me a few days to get back with you but when you ask me I drew a blank lol so I txt a handful of people playn with my cues and heres there responses 1 solid 2 versetile designs 3 great fit and finish 4 alot of cue for the money 5 up and coming well thanx for the question I never thought about it lol and thanx for ur interest - jim pierce-

I cannot compete with the majority of graphic artist that have repied, many really good idea and graphics, but maybe I can suggest a concept that others can work on if you like the idea: Maybe incorporate bowling alley lanes or arrows since many of your shafts are made from that material.
Here's a sample picture of what I'm talking about to include your name as part of the logo. Of course the talent we have here can make this idea much more streamline so it would be tasteful.

I was messing around with compact logos and came up with this one. This would be a decal under clear, dark for light background and light for dark background. I left out the word cues because "custom" by itself sounds cool to me.
I like logos on cues that spell out the name even though they are larger. There are 700 active cue makers and few of us can can figure out the "initial only" logo's as they are now. There are already two well known JP's. In fact, the "JP" logo Joe Porper was using for awhile had to be changed back to "Porper" because Jerry Pechauer was using it and Jerry was being contacted about Joe's cues.
The stylized P can be used by itself as a logo for small things. The word custom is in a screen, so 'Pierce" pops. The "P" and small "ierce" script can be colorized for stylish effects.

Do you prefer the smaller format or would .5" x .25" or .5" x .5" work for you because if that could work a bit more detail can be retained in that size? I would also like to ask if there is anything in particular you identify with in your business or personally that you might want to represent yourself with on your cues?
On another topic, I really like the bumper imprint that you are using. Is this contest to replace that with an on cue logo or to add to what you currently are using?

Sorry guys if I havent responded or put much feed bac into this I thought it would kinda run its self and at the end I would comb thru ur post and pic one and then contact the winner and fine tune it so again sorry if u guys dont think I went about this the rite way -jim pierce-

It's fine what your've done, but we don't know what you like or want to represent with your image. We just know that you want the logo to be compact.
For example, my logo designs require a decal or at least a laser engraving. Maybe you want an easier shape to inlay?
I personally think the decal is the way to go because it's versatile and the quality will be high. They are easy to replace if the cue get's refinished or the buttcap is broken.
So, here are some questions:
1. Do you like more modern fonts, or more retro?
2. Do you want logo's with initials, or your full name?
3. Do you want images in addition to text? In other words, do you want a "mark" like the Nike swoosh that people can easily identify your cues.
4. Do you want your logo to convery a theme? For example, I was thinking you were in Montana (maybe not current) and might like the great outdoors, but maybe weaponry, the wild west, animals or something else would be more appropriate.
5. Are you going to use a decal, inlay, silk screen, or engraving?
6. Do you want it to be black and white, or color?
7. What exact dimensions do you want for your logo? That way we can scale it to the photos and give a better idea what it will look like.
8. Do you want just a logo for the butt of a cue, or one that can be expanded for your web site?
Anyway, these are the quations that went through my mind.

I know how dificult it will be to choose a logo. When dealing with a logo on a buttcap, the simpler the better.
