ty for post you can see what i see.muttley76 said:To this whole thread: I started this thread because I did like the dvd, but cut Chris some slack. That knowledge has, in the past, been a learned skill. You can't blame anybody that worked hard for it, and now everybody else now has the opportunity to get it basically for free. I can understand that. Surely everybody else can, as well?

im sure your right.nice postSpiderWebComm said:Joe is probably laughing because you're advertising for him. You're one of my favorite players, Chris, which is why I know that you know that you can show that racking info to nearly 100% of pool players who are under a pro speed and it won't put them on the road searching out guys like you any time soon.
Until someone comes out with a DVD on how to stroke laser straight and not flinch under pressure, your position as one of the top players/gamblers in the country isn't in any danger.
Once you get tired of the gambling and touring, etc... I'd bet whatever there's a "Cashing at Pool the Bartram Way" DVD somewhere in the future. It'll prob be $39.95 and you'll sell a ton, I'm sure. Maybe even a book about your stories on the road. Prob also $39.95...available at Borders. It's not a sell-out because you can't snitch 'talent.' Just my opinion.

alot of people know but bad players like you should not lolsrs314 said:I've never seen the DVD or the book but I'm ordering it now so I can be in the know. Then I will tell everyone I see about it cuz I'm certain I can count on one hand the guys that learned this just by trial and error.
I remember seeing all you players that don't like this DVD being out there learning this by gapping different balls, breaking from all over the table at all different speeds and plotting the results.
Well actually maybe most of you were just passed the information from a friend so whats the difference?
You talk of this like someone sold a secret only you know, lol.
go get this dvd so your in the know and then you might just want the 6 and last 4srs314 said:I've never seen the DVD or the book but I'm ordering it now so I can be in the know. This was my first thought as well. I have never rigged a rack intentionally, but I assume that this DVD offers techniques to do so? If that's the case, then for me, it's worth buying. At least I can call some one out on a rigged rack... unless my reading between the lines in all of the above posts has lead me in the wrong direction?Ironman317 said:everyone is entitled to the same fair opening break. racking somehow is the same as stacking a deck of cards. if you cant win by giving your opponent a tight and fair rack...then dont play! i know plenty of people that can break like king kong, but cant beat the 6 ball ghost...so whats the problem? i think chris may be a little upset he didnt think of making this video himself first.

Wow, all these years and NOW I find out that all the road players I played were gaffing the rack. No wonder I could never get good enough to be in on the secret.
You're right though that it's great information - Thanks Joe Tucker.
After reading Joe's book I put a rack on my friend betting him $20 he couldn't get the 9 to the rail. He quit $100 loser and like the true sucker I am I let him out for dinner instead.
Thanks for verifying that the information in Racking Secrets is worth it. I thought you were gonna say it's all bunk. Joe should send you some jelly for the plug.
I can see the next DVD cover now
"Joe Tucker's a snitch, bring him in the hood and he'd be shot for giving up the information on how to beat 99% of the people in this country" C.B.
