Hey All,
I have two shafts with radial threads in them and I am wondering if boring out the shafts and placing phenolic inserts in them firm up the hit of a cue?
Any pros/cons would be nice to hear.
If you want a firmer hit, try a Titan ferrule
I am just curious, I have one cue that has the inserts and plays lights out and one that is almost the exact same thing and it hits totally different.
I just don't see how something this small could make such a huge difference in the hit and yes I know "the hit" is very subjective to each player's opinion.
Thanks KV and Mr. H.
Would there be any difference if they were put into say a Flat Lam or Pie spliced shaft. Or a Flat Lam/Pie spliced shaft. I am am experimenting with a new shaft style and want to make it as strong as possible. The test cue has a .822" joint no collar.
And KV please check your Pm's or call me please. 623-377-0020
