I too, stopped in to Strokers II last night for a few minutes. The place was jammed with league players, and every table was being played on by somebody. With no tables open, and nobody playing by themselves, I left after a few minutes. Nice place!:D I noticed two Diamonds along one wall.

I always played on the Diamond, Ken had spaced them apart from the other tables by a few feet more that usual, so he had plenty of room, worked for me too.:D

My boss said I could get off early Friday if you want to play some at the Flamingo, let me know, not sure when you wanted to get together.

Place looks great. I like the new paint, gotta love the Buccaneer colors on the inside. Good to play on the Mika Immonen Diamond again. I won my first 4 games of nine ball (including my second one on the snap), and I think I was up at the end of the evening, but I was pretty drunk judging from my hangover today.:eek:

I was in there about 10pm, and noticed a couple of guys (one black, one white) playing 9-ball on the corner table by the Diamonds. Was one of those guys you?

ANy of you Tampa Bay area players want to get togather and play some snaps Im always down. Steve, Kane and I are getting together in a few weeks to crack some. ANybody else want to get together at STroker II or Big O's, Bull's club or Breakroom in carrollwood (I have a standing free table there, can play anytime with anyone for free) I'm down...

Yea we were there earlier at like 8 or so then went up to Strokers in Palm harbor for the weekly 9ball tournament.

Like Beware_of_Dawg said we are going to get together in a few weeks and meet up there. Anyone is welcome to come and I'll post a thread at that time for tampa area players so we can meet others as well.

No, they were playing on the Gabriels, we were two down, on the diamond.
We were there from 8 to like midnight.

i stopped in as well last night and i really liked whats been done there.......its open, airy ,clean and the bathrooms are nice......i cant wait til the tourneys start up again
 
Does Jose have plans to start running any weekend tourneys, or at least a weeknight OPEN tourney?

$7.50 to play pool all day rate isn't bad.

That's still higher than Buffalo's Billiards rate of $6.00 (per person) for all day non-gambling rate (9am to 5pm). Oh yeah, the rate from 1 am to 6 am is $6.00 for the whole time as well.

Gamblers will be punished with an hourly rate of $3.25 per hour. :eek:

Yes when I was there on Wednesday night Jose said Strokers 2 will have tournaments on Tuesday and Thursday probably because his Strokers in palm harbor has tournaments on Monday and Wednesday nights.

Monday - Palm harbor Strokers - 8ball
Tuesday - Tampa Strokers - 9ball (don't know when he plans on starting them up)
Wednesday - Palm harbor Strokers - 9ball
Thursday- Tampa Strokers - 8ball (don't know when he plans on starting them up)
