Playing better while medicated

Do any of you find you play better while medicated? I've seen a lot of players not playing so well make a trip to the bathroom after not playing so well and come out world beaters.

I find that I play more consistently and deliver a better cueing action after smoking bath salts along with six or so shots of Skol brand vodka with an accompanying bottle of Night Train Express to nurse in order to maintain my higher level of plateau. After this mixture, I'll give the world the 8...

It may be frowned upon, but I definitely shoot a little straighter after clearing the air outside.

Yes and no. I hear that a little medicinal marijuana (legally prescribed for chronic poolplayer's backache, of course) can elevate interest and focus, especially for practice - but I wonder if the lessons "stick" as well. I think it must be too distracting for competition.

When the tension gets tight Crank it up huh. WTF. Also why would anyone admit they enjoy getting tuned up on a public forum. Sorry drugs are for sick people.

Marijuana cannot be legally prescribed anywhere in the US. It is a common misunderstanding that it can be legally prescribed.

In states that allow "medical marijuana" they utilize a doctor's recommendation, not a prescription. The vast majority of doctors willing to do this are generally one or two steps from losing their license already and are simply bottom feeding for income.

I have plenty of experience with this . I have done it all. The answer is if your an addict then yes it helps. If your not then your screwing yourself . I have often thought about if I influenced people by me doing exactly what your talking about. I still smoke but that's a different beast IMO. But the stuff done in the bathrooms are nothing but bad for you and your game.
They play better after a bathroom visit because that's the only way they can play.

In the Hustler, Fatty played better after he freshened himself up a bit and powdered his nose... a different type of powder...

I may have shot a little better on Adderall, but I wouldn't take it just to play better. Didn't like the side effects and couldn't justify the cost.

Played the best match of my life while high. Beat my (much better) friend 7-0. Couldn't miss. Can't claim it as conclusive proof that playing medicated is a good idea ...I may have just been on fire that day anyway, but it certainly felt like it was helping.

It's the truth. Whether or not you like it has little to do with it.

If you want to call me ignorant you will find yourself very unprepared.

I'm calling you ignorant on cannabis. You demonstrated that quite amply in another thread in NPR. It is also clear you're prejudiced against cannibis in general, which may well be clouding your judgment on cannabis dispensing doctors that you consider 'bottom feeders'.

And when was the last time you were a practicing GP? Have you EVER been a practicing GP?

I've been waiting over two years for someone to start a thread on this.

See no evil, smoke no evil, snort no evil. Drugs in pool simply doesn't exist.
