Yes and no. I hear that a little medicinal marijuana (legally prescribed for chronic poolplayer's backache, of course) can elevate interest and focus, especially for practice - but I wonder if the lessons "stick" as well. I think it must be too distracting for competition.

Do any of you find you play better while medicated? I've seen a lot of players not playing so well make a trip to the bathroom after not playing so well and come out world beaters.
The vast majority of doctors willing to do this are generally one or two steps from losing their license already and are simply bottom feeding for income.

I may have shot a little better on Adderall, but I wouldn't take it just to play better. Didn't like the side effects and couldn't justify the cost.
