After 10 1/2 years of marriage the wife and I are the proud new owners of a newborn TODDLER. I say that somewhat in jest, but boy is he HUGE! The details....you know, the one's that the girls hafta know; born Thurs night at 8:09 PM. He was, get this, 10 lbs. 10 oz, and 21 inches long  . Yes, she is SORE. His name is Joshua Elliott Bauer - JOSH to me :) The wife didn't think that Eddie or Jack would be "funny" to name him  I'm both elated, and exhausted, but looking forward to the experience. Thanks for letting me share, and be sure to look at the pics uploaded from the proud papa... :D

BTW, the 2nd pic is just to show why dadddy is envious....I haven't had that much hair since I was a teen :(

There will be plenty of time for you to be a Pool Player, after you have spent 18 years of being a Daddy & a Breadwinner.

Once you have been the GREAT DAD, you are going to be, you will then have another great friend. What else could you want for. Your wife & your son will love & respect you for that too.

Good Luck. With good behavior, you might be released early.

congrats!!! i have my first on the way. due in august. pool just doesnt really matter when thinking about the longterm. once again, congratulations. by the way, when you do get a chance to play a little pool, it will make it that much sweeter.

p.s. i showed my wife this thread and she got alittle light headed. lol.

Tap Tap Tap, nows when you find out what really matters in life! Of course what do i know, I'm only 21 hehe!!!

Congrats !!! Good luck to you and your family. Forget pool, you have a future NFL left tackle there.

Congrats, maybe pool has prepared you for the sleepness nights forthcoming for the next couple of years. (hint hint... your wife is not the only one expected to get up in the middle of the night when he starts crying).

It is all worth it trust me.

10 pounds is a healthy sized boy. One of my favorite athletes was Russian Heavyweight Greco Roman wrestler Alexander Karelin. He weighed 15 lbs at birth.

Congrats to you and your wife.

Congrats to you & your wife, Rusty. And you weren't kidding about the hair! That's way more than I have now. When you get his hair cut let me know, I'll buy the clippings to glue onto my shiny bonce! I did try to get Britney's but the asking price was too high!:D

Just a whole different game, that's all.

Soon, you'll be giving tips on stroke and position play :)

Congratulations!!
