Please explain Moniker

Obvious right?

I thought it fitting to use my high run in straight pool because when I start with ball in hand I can sometimes almost beat that.

Luxury was one of my favorite bands. In chat I am luxury_theme which was the name of their theme song "The Luxury Theme"

I don't think fly fishing when I hear the word nymph. ;)
Mine is a combination of my initials and the designation of a car I sold a couple of years ago...a 1972 911S. Probably the coolest car I'll ever own...but it was time to pass it on.

My handle came from my younger years, when, anytime someone asked if I wanted to smoke some more, I always said "yes".

Eventually people started saying that I was a real trooper...That's what I thought of when I chose my first email address years ago, and it's been my online identity ever since.

(Or maybe my handle means that I'm a DEA agent, specializing in marijuana enforcement...I'll leave you to wonder. ;) )

I played bass in a few rock bands in the NW. My name is Ken and I had some fans that started calling me "Bass Master K" and it stuck.

When I was playing poker online I became very aware that there is apparently a fishing show called "BassMaster". I swear every couple of sit-n-go's I'd have someone ask me where I fish. :)

About 10 years ago I played (watched) John Schmidt in a little tournament in Riverside Ca/ before he went to Florida. I think he had his RV back then. Race to 5 winner breaks. I think I shot 4 times. I was kicking 3 and 4 rails each time.

So now 3 railkicks are my first choice for any shot.:o

A State Trooper on hi-way 420?!??! Ron

I got the idea for my name from the movie Pump Up The Volume, starring Christian Slater. In the movie, his character got a P.O. box under the name Charles U Farley. When the police tracked down his PO box they thought they had identified their perp, but discoverd that if you move a couple of letters around, Chuck U Farley becomes F U Charley. My real name is actually Mike something.

Back in the late 1990's, I was running a test on an e-mail program. I couldn't find an unused username. I am a genealogist with hillbilly roots.

While I was sitting there, frustrated about not being able to find something usable for this test, I said, "Good grief, I'm just piddlin' around!!" Add that to the hillbilly roots and...

JesPiddlin

It's pretty simple!

'Snapshot' was the Pool nickname given to me when I won a big monthly tournament in Indianapolis, when I lived there for awhile. I believe it was picked because of the way I break the balls. It was given to me by the tournament director, who also was the publisher of the Indianapolis Pool newsletter there at the time. (I beat Brian Groce in the finals of the tournament).

The '9' is for 9 ball.
