Yes, it does!!

I will not post pics of the butt, Barry came up with a very unique design for me and I won't share it in public as I have seen a very close copy of this cue's forearm and the ring.

Efren's old cue had that same C-ring look. They called it domino ring.
It was nail polish though. Not milled.:D
 
Barry really surprised me with the ring. It was the 3rd such ring he had done when he made me my cue. It just pulls the veneer work and ring stitching together.

Barb, very nice cue and thank you for sharing. You have however piqued my curiousity (and I am sure everyone else for that matter) of what the butt looks like! I can see how you would only need one cue after that one.
When was it made?

I got "the call" January 1997.

If we ever meet up in person, I will gladly show you the butt design.

So Barry calls me today(nice guy, i really like him) and said he caught wind of this thread, he told me to look at my cues he thought I might have one of his cues in my vault, so I did. After I described it to him and saw his name on it, I figured out that I do infact have a Barry cue. How strong is that? How did he figure that out? and get my number? Glad he did though so now I know who he is. Caught me totally off guard.


I hear all this talk about him on AZ and have posted 10 times "Barry who?". Man do I feel dumb, I'll take some pics tonight or tomarrow of the cue and we'll be able to make this thread a little longer.


There are some awesome cues on here, congrats to everyone.

some very nice examples so far. Barry should be starting mine fairly soon so i'll post pics of it when finished. he's replacing a cue i had of his fathers that burned up in a car fire some months before his fathers passing. this one will have just a couple mods but the basic design will stay the same....i can't wait.

skins ------------- believes patience is a virtue.........but easy when the wait is for a Szamboti!! :)
