i have had several pms about all EIGHT of my threads. i guess im listing too many cues for sale , individually, and im bumping them way too many times(every two weeks or so). i dont mean to sound like a jerk, and if i upset any body, i apologize. i will still respond to any questions, and you can always reach me at my web site, www.goldrushcues.com(still working on it so bear with me), but im no longer going to advertise here.

I'm on here EVERYDAY and I have NEVER been bothered by your posts. And I don't think they have been excessive IMO. You have two options: 1. tell the complainers to suck it(not a good idea) LOL or 2. post all of your stuff in one thread and bump that. You have just as much right to use this service as anyone else.... Not to mention the fact that you seem to build a great looking cue and as far I can tell you deliver what you promise. Varney gets to continue using these forums and there's NO need to outline the problems with him. Eddie Wheat of course, is another matter entirely.
 
I agree, the multiple threads don't bother me at all. I suppose your detractors would be more satisfied with having them all condensed into one, but personally I find threads with more than 3 cues cumbersome (with all the pics that people demand, you're already looking at over 20 pictures per thread once you pass 3 cues). At any rate, I encourage you to continue advertising here. If I has more money to spare, I would have already purcahsed some of your work! :thumbup:
 
My 2 cents.
I have been on here everyday since joining and have not noticed what I would consider over-posting. My opinion is you are just as entitled to sell as everyone else.:wink:
 
I have seen your posts, but I do not feel that they have been obnoxious or overbearing in the least.

I agree with you John and guess what... I think you would love the hit of Kevin's cues. I am waiting another week and I might be able to get one.
Kevins, just post the break cues on one post and the playing cues on a different one. I think you will have a better exposure that way.

hmmm...

I don't know about you guys but I would not have been as interested or possibly missed his thread if it was all condensed into one. Once I saw all the separate posts pop-up I was like oooohhhh lemme see lemme see. Consequently I found yet another cue builder that I was unaware of and actually quite like.

Just my opinion. But, I took a poll and everyone I polled said my opinion was extremely important and should be weighted above all others.
Disclaimer: Poll included himself, 2 dogs, and 39 people that did not speak English but nodded yes.
 
Keep posting your cues they look nice and if they dont want to see them then they don't have to click on em... THAT SIMPLE!!!!!

Freedom to sell at a fair price, a free market to compete for sales. If a person chooses not buy, move on to the next item. Don't harass a seller for having too many item to sell, that is what a free and open market is about people.
I will now get off my soap box.

I have to agree with everyone else. I'm here quite often and I've never felt like you were flooding the F/S section with cues. If anything, I think AZ supports 'our' cuemakers and supports them as much as possible. Often times we get to see and buy cues way before anyone in the open market. I always look forward to seeing the latest and greatest from some of the best cuemakers in the world.

That's funny, I thought you did'nt advertise enough. Always looked forward to the great pics.
 
Condensing your cues would be one way of avoiding any undue criticism IMO. I am not at all offended and also feel you have the same rights as any other cuemaker that wishes to promote his cues on AZ. I do think there are some folks that do bump and post incessantly about there cues and billiard products to keep them in the spot light though.

I'm a newb when it comes to AZ. Before getting on and looking around I only knew of a handful of cue makers (sadly most of them passed away or retired from making cues). Without cue makers advertising on here, how am I suppose to get a new custom cue that no one else has.

Google only works if you know what you're looking for. I've searched custom pool cues several times and I get billiards supplies sites, how to choose a custom cue, and 100 names of people i've never heard of or have heard very little about.

Here it's like going to a convention instead of a store. I get to see the cue maker, craftmanship, and azer's opinions rather than a hodgepodge of what a cue sales shop is trying to sell.

The cue shop my old hometown sold Cuetec, Mcdermott, and Viking. Very little variety and nothing worth the price tag on the butt.

So for me and all the rest of the newcomers and even the veterans looking to see what the next generation has to offer, don't stop showcasing your work here.
 
i saw the threads and wasnt bothered by them but i can see how some people might be. i remember that one day where briana bumped a bunch of threads all at the same time and it took over the whole front page and everyone flipped out. i guess it's the same thing here cuz he bumped all of the threads at once and it took over 3/4 of the front page. it didnt matter to me since i wasnt selling anything but i guess to some ppl who were selling stuff it affected them cuz their threads got bumped to the second page within 2 minutes.
 
WOW! someone was really bothered by you bumping your cues for sale? Can you imagine the home of whomever this bothered. Its late, dinners ready, your wife asks how was your day and you just go off. This guy on AZB is posting and bumping and advertising way to much. I just don't know what to do. GOD! Its just got to stop. I'm putting my foot down. Something has got to be done. The moderator has to step in and stop this injustice. Oh, by the way how was your day.
 
the difference being....

IMHO....Lee(brianna) is NOT VERY NICE to many (potential)customers and recent threads of his have illustrated it perfectly. Yet he still insists on using AZ to promote his stuff. his prerogative of course but he is NOT very nice to a lot of folks IMO. So part of the AZ'ers frustrations with "those" threads may have been part volume, and part person ;) The guys at Goldrush Cues have been COMPLETELY PROFESSIONAL in every post I've seen
