People think there are haters and supporters. I think there is more than that. Here are the poll options I thought of. I clicked the Poll button, but not sure if it'll work since I've never done a poll.
1. Love everything about it.
2. Frustrated so far, but want to see it succeed.
3. Like the idea, don't like the game.
4. Don't like it, but would like it to succeed for the players benefit.
5. Too much stuff I don't like to support it. (rules, uniforms, tight pockets, game, etc)
6. I'd like to support it, but the people running it are unlikable, leaning me towards #7.
7. Hate it and look forward to it failing.
Here are my thoughts. I'm between #2 and 3, with a little of #6 because Nathan's posts can seem a little insulting like we don't matter. Don't know him, and it sounds like he doesn't mean it when he defends.
Scheduling conflicts - no turning back now, it is what it is and everyone will survive in my opinion. Don't buy the argument that all players can attend other events because we have alternates. What if the alternates want to play the other events as well? Somebody is going to be told they can't.
I think the pockets should be 4 or 4 1/4.
Love the team concept, not quite sure about the game though.
Jersey's do look a little funky and I wouldn't buy one. But if they did look a little more comfortable, I would purchase my favorite team/player. But I would be kind of embarrassed to wear one of the current jersey's out.
Little too high priced for the stream at $9.95. If they do succeed and even get 10k viewers, that's a pretty nice take. I think they'd get more viewers consistently for $3 or $4 per match.
If the stream isn't important in the big picture (Nathan says), it should be cheaper to get more people to try it and further build the fan base. Regardless of whoever the true target market is, the bigger the fan base the better.
I think some have looked at my posts and consider me a hater. Couldn't be further from the truth. Please don't confuse frustration with disdain.
