I noticed there seems to be a connection between people who play pool also playing golf. On ebay many folks who sell pool cues seem to sell golf clubs as well.
Wondering if pool should be more like golf. Should we have a limited number of sticks in the case that we go between in a game. Like a driver, iron, wedge, putter. For the most part i see people have breaking, shooting, and very rarely jumping.
In the apa jumping isnt even aloud, which i dont get. Asides from establishments not wanting people to ruin there precious tables. and i feel, If felts are ruined deal with it, its the price of having a table or business, pass the cost back. In golf divots are repired, and shots are made on marked up greens, the longer the day goes.
Is the number of cues used limited in most leagues or tournaments? Golf clubs are limited to 12 or so.
I guess im wondering if it would be wise to use a z2 when that extra spin is needed. Then swith to something more reliable wider tipped for long shots, when not so much spin is needed, and margin of error is greater. Or being able to swith to a masse cue if you want. Or a light cue for slow rolling defense. It's a game of skill, and if you use all the weapons wisely, wouldn't that elevate your game even more?
If i played tiger woods and he only had a putter, I think i could give him a run for his money.
