This is a poll to ascertain what the demographics of AzBilliards' readership is. We all have one thing in common, and that's our attraction to pool.

I did a poll like this in the past, but I'm curious as to where we stand today in 2011. :)

This is a blind poll, so lurkers can feel comfortable voting if they would like to remain incognito.

I made this poll mutiple choice.

Can you start all over again? I want to change my answer - thanks.

hahahaha, boy you guys sure pick on JAM a lot ;)

S.G.

I probably should have included more categories, but I was limited to 10. :D

Another category would be "author, writer, or blogger." Scott is right that there should be one for "trainer and teacher."

It is interesting, however, to see the majority of readers here actually are players in one form or another. :)

I didn't pick one !

But i use to be 7 out of the 10 at one time or another....guess if you had a "has been" title to check off I would have picked that one...lol

Well, that means you're just a pool kind of guy, Troy! ;)

I love seeing the fact that we have a lot of league player members. That is cool!

We all seem to be dancing around the pole here. hyuk! hyuk!

THAT is a nit-like comment.

Not too many railbird readers, or if there are, nobody wants to admit it. I feel like I need to go to a Railbirds Anonymous meeting. :embarrassed2:

JAM: Hello. My name is JAM, and I'm a Railbird. I'm happy to be here tonight.

JAM..do you have to close the poll on 04-26?

Be nice to get a few thousand responders.
I know there are more than 5 room owners and 6 stakehorses...
..maybe they got their computers in hock..:embarrassed2:

..running this for a year would be interesting

Professional?

No category for 'touring professional'? Not that it would change my answer, but it would be nice to know they still exist:)

Im addicted to the game and the hustles that come along with it, I know as long as im alive there will always be a pool table in my house ,if not for anything else its entertainment..

I deliberately left it off the list. As most know, the existing lot of professional pool players is dwindling, at least in the United States. One thing for sure, not many of them post on AzBilliards very often, if at all. :(

Lol...if you feel like searching through my posts, I've admitted to being a nit at least a dozen times. :D

Sometimes "nit" is synonymous for "smart game maker".

:D

LOL! I wonder how those guys at "Buffalo's Billiards" in Louisiana -- you know, that "lock society" thing -- would vote on this one. It'll be an interesting paradox; noone wants to admit being a nit, but these guys love advertising the fact they admire or swoon over the "lock" -- which most true gamblers wave their hand at in dismissal fashion while doing the <tisk, tisk> thing.

In essence, most of us are just tiny little krills swimming amongst a pod of great blue whales.

Seldom play less than one hundred games of 9 ball per week. Some weeks as many as three fifty and very rarely play without gambling. Played for as little as a dollar a game up to two hundred race to seven. Most often twenty race to seven.
