Pool in Couer D'Alene, ID

Paddys Sports Bar..... Wed night tourneys,,,they have about 10 tables.
8 ft. Diamonds and one 9ft. Diamond. Good people there.

If you golf, and are there as the weather gets warmer, make sure to play Cour D'Alene Resort.
It's open to the public and just beautiful. They have the only floating green in the world, check it out on google.
It's a beautiful area, the lake is beautiful ,as are the Cour D'Alene mountains.

A short drive to Spokane Washington and go see the sights downtown.
The Spokane Falls /Spillway, practically run right through the city. The waterway is wild during ice out, definitley something to see.
Also plenty of fly fishing and fly shops in both areas to spend a lot of cash in,,,,if you fish.

I know you asked about pool, I had to pass that info along.
I have family there, love this place.
Been there many times. I’m pretty sure all but the lone 9’er are 7’ bar boxes. I played once on the bar box.

there is one player in the area that gambles he is an A player and wont rat him out.

there might be some 5 and 10 dollar players but 50 and up is scarce.

i didnt know paddy's had a 9 footer. so that is the go to place.

also the best breakfast is the garnet cafe. long line on the weekend so pick your times to go. its more than worth it if you want food that doesnt come off the commercial truck or out of a box.
Is that the guy always wearing the Pro Pool player jersey? Paddy’s is a nice room.
I got some light action on the 9.

I usually drove to Black Diamond for the light action, although some guy was barking at me for $200 a game action. I’m pretty sure he was joking because it looked like he wasn’t a very good player. They have plenty of 9’ tables with one kinda strange Diamond that I thought played pretty well with 4.25 corners. Last time I was there they were closed so I went to Legacy’s to play on their only 9’ Blue label Diamond, they do have like 25 blue label bar boxes. I found myself some good action even though their top player was at the US Open.

UPDATE:
I've arrived in Couer d'Alene. It's beautiful up here, but staying around 14 degrees at the moment. I'm signing up for the tournament in a couple hours. I'll post an update later, hoping I do well.

Rumor has it you're the man to beat. Good luck and take no prisoners.
It has been a few years since I played in a tourney. I will retire soon and start getting back to playing competitively, although might be getting to old to be a threat.

Couer d'Alene Brings back fond memories for me, have fun and "take it"...easy.

We put on the Northwest Open 9-Ball Championship at the Coeur D'Alene Casino 24 or 25 years ago. Probably the biggest pool tournament ever held in Idaho. We had a full field of over 256 players and a $30,000 prize fund. It came down to a very young Alex P. vs. Rudolpho Luat in the finals. They played a great match and Alex pulled it out for a $12,500 score. The tribe who ran the casino treated everyone great and it was a nice experience all around. Sad to say my partner Mickey Peel's health got bad and we never did it again. Mickey was the owner of Keystone Cue and Cushion in Reno (and other businesses) and for many years also supplied the Gold Crowns used at the Sands Regency tournament. He passes away about ten years ago. RIP my friend!

There’s definitely some good players here warming up! I think I’ll need a little luck to win tonight.

I won!!! Undefeated, got a cool $150! Tipped the shit out of everyone and made a couple new friends.
Congratulations, everyone I’ve met there have been nice.
What’s your FargoRate?
I’ve got a trip to Phoenix the end of January(unless Covid cancels it). We could meet up, I’m always up for a whooping.
