Hey now,,,

Just wondering what's doing out there as we plan to head out sometime this year,,,,

Is ''Joltin Joes'' still in the Gaslamp District...or any new or other places anyone could reccomend ?

Even if Joltin' Joe's is still there, you may not want to hang out there even if you're just an occasional ball banger. The place was going down hill the last I seen of it.

College Billiards and On Cue are a bit of a drive from the Gaslamp.

The website says it has 10 pool tables and 4 ping pong tables (click the information tab and take the virtual tour). Doesn't sound like a players room but if you just want to bang some balls while your in the area I suppose it will do.

The other places mentioned are not very close to the Gas Lamp District.

I went to Joltin Joes stayed maybe ..5 minutes, just enough time to use the bathroom..On Cue or College. I liked On Cue best

Side question.....Does On Cue or College have any tournament plans for2012? .....not weekly...two day weekend type events.

They have started a First Saturday of the month handicapped 10 ball event at oncue.

Not sure about college, Pedro usually puts on a big 3 cushion event once a year.

We had the CPPT california pool players tour, but it looks like that went to the way side..... :(
