Billiards Digest, Insideenglish, Pool and Billiards, and Inside Pool?

Does anyone have a "local" magazine anymore?

In Oklahoma, I know of two "magazines", both set up more like newspapers. There is the Oklahoma Clubsports Winners Magazine at http://www.okwinners.com/ and the Tulsapoolplayers.com magazine at www.oklahomapool.com

The Winners Magazine is statewide, basically. It has lots of info on pool and darts events all around Oklahoma. The website isn't always up-to-date with the most recent stuff, but the paper copy is very informative.

The Tulsa magazine may be going through some name and/or distribution changes. Their site has previously had issues with any browsers other than IE, so be prepared, if you are using a different browser and can't read a page they have up. Also, they have been known to post some things differently on the online magazine pages than in the actual paper.

If I missed any local/state magazines, it wasn't intentional and anyone is welcome to add more.

There have been a couple of recent threads about this. One of them was about the National Billiards News that just went out of business after about 40 years of monthly publication.

There are two local pool newspapers on the West Coast: On the Wire and On the Break News.

The BCA maintains a list of regional, national and international publications. See http://www.bca-pool.com/industry/publications.shtml -- The list includes web sites.

Maybe its time BCA updated their list! As there were a few Publications [Regional] that wasn't listed. In this post and other posts.

I see that you mentioned "Inside English", but for those who do not know it is a Michigan based free publication and is distributed to poolrooms in an ever increasing area, to now included: MI, IN,IL,OH,PA,KY & MO.

The publication formally know as Chalk Talk and then became MN Billiards is now called U.S. Bar Sports. As far as I knw they are still publishing a "hard copy" during the pool season.
