Pool needs a King!!! How about Earl? Who do you nominate?

Today I have figured out what we need to fix everything that is wrong with Pool.....We need a King...one voice sitting on the throne to wave the wand....Pool Cue....make the decree and fix what is wrong with pool......I hereby nominate......Earl Strickland.....

The floor is now open for you to make your arguments, nominate your own man and post up links to what has been said, or done as to why we should pick your candidate.

We have AzKings of the states....why not...the "Top Dawg King" of the greater domain? http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=297906.....here are a few of the comments on another thread that this King will have to fix....choose wisely....

I second that, KING JAMES REMPE! Aw but wait a minute here, they say King Rempe was involved with what went down in 1991 in vegas, if that is 100% true (which i believe it is) then he should be dethroned and replaced!

I'm going to have to go with Steve Mizerak, on this one. He was not only a great pool player, but also had style, class, and a good sense of humor.
As for the Queen. None other than the Duchess of Doom herself, Miss Allison Fisher. :smile:

Who would be King!

Johnny Archer would be my pick, he was player of the decade of the 90's , 9-Ball World Champion many times, still an active player , and he's a very likeable person.

I would, but he does not know pool as much as the other pros, his game lack consistency at this age, and seems to want to shoot same way as he did 30 years ago, that does not work.
