Pool On Tv In 10 Minutes!

Is this the tournament with the Busty vs. Alex finals, where Alex turns away when shoting the money ball and misses? If it is, someone should record it and put it on youtube. :D

Not the same tourney. They just said Shane is waiting in the finals. I believe Alex beats Shane in the finals. Alex will be playing Busty next, so maybe that is the match you are talking about.

I take back my edit, yes it's on right now, well I guess it was on then...

jsp...I just watched Alex pull that "Tom Cruise" move on the case 9-ball. Not really surprising that he missed. When you turn your head, your cue moves offline as well. You don't have to miss by much, to miss the shot...as we can see. Alex was lucky that Django tried to rocket bank the 9 cross-side and hit the tit. Had Francisco backed his speed off just a hair he would have made the bank, and perhaps gone on to win the match. jmo

Busty would have found a way to give it back to him. He knew he was beat on that shot.

It was. I can't believe he did that. Seems like he made a mockery out of the whole ESPN/Tournament by not trying on the game winning ball.
I was into the match until he hot dogged it..That is so pitiful..It just keeps the game down..:( Terry O.

I actually saw some of this! It's amazing that those guys seem to have so much fun while they're playing, makes a nice change from dour faces!

Now, when is the final going to be shown? They never tell you that bit!

Who had the great idea to put some unknown (at least to this American viewer) dude in front of the hot female personality so she could ask his prediction for the match? "Uh, mmm, I'll take the little one. Yeah, it seems like the little one can play. Who's the little one again?"

when i first heard about this shot, i was a little disappointed in the fact that these guys would do something like this on tv, but after seeing it, it was obvious Alex had the match and he was joking around the entire time, why not then. he was lucky that Busty did not make it, but then again after the last shot, would you really want it - we have all been there.

the thought is this, i have been in many pool rooms and have seen many ball bangers do just that move - someone out there probably felt connected to these guys at that moment  and i think it was not as bad of a move as once thought. they were obviously having a good time the entire match. professional, probably not, but fun, yes.

P.s.

P.S. - there is another round at 11 pm eastern time - same station - it is supposed to be the semis of the enjoypool.com 2007 event. i can't remember who played, think it was Mike Davis and Shane VanBoenig.

What gets me is the Super Shot of the Match. AP does a reasonably routine cross-bank on the 3 and gets hooked. Yet Bustamante performs a great two rail kick on the one and makes it. The one was on the rail....not a hanger. Then goes on for a jump on the two.
