What do you fathers out there have planned for Father's Day?

I imagine I will end up hitting some balls but I did just get my gator boat prepped and detailed and the weather here is looking mighty fine for Sunday so the fish may be calling my name. :)

Perhaps I'll receive a pool related something or another, though.

Happy Father's Day guys.

Enjoy!

My wife already said I'll be taking my son to play pool so he can practice for Jr Nationals which is in a few weeks.

You can't mention the gator boat and not post a picture of it. Put one up for people that haven't seen it.

Sunday I'll go to church and spend time with the family.

If I had a table at home, of course, there'd be pool. Not the case so probably no pool.

Instead of heading over to the pool hall, I'm opting to watch the Yankees play the Angels Sunday afternoon on my 70" Vizio M.
There's also the U.S. Open and I hope Kaymar slips tomorrow on those inverted shaped greens so it becomes a little more interesting.
Mickelson blew it bad today. Sunday night is catch-up on Game of Thrones.....I'm only on episode 7 so I have 3 more to catch up on & #10 is Sunday night.

Oh yeah, two of my children are coming into town for the weekend to see me for Fathers Day so the aforementioned may not even matter.

But very definitely..... my Father's Day schedule is sans pool..

that ain't no hemi.

it's a 455 Olds with some mods. :)

A lot of fun is when there's some dry gravel or whatever that prevents 'normal' boats from reaching the other side. I can just get up to speed and then shut her down and glide across the dry bed and onto the next spot, like 20 feet or less. That move gets a lot of looks. :grin-square:

real shallow draft and no prop is a beautiful thing.

Come east, Kev, we'll go for a ride.

What happened to Gator Bait 1 and Gator Bait 2?

they were made into a ladies' handbag and thigh boots, respectively. :grin-square:

but seriously, GB1 was a 27' Luhrs sport fisherman boat jointly owned by my dad, brother-in-law, and myself that was sold long ago.

GB2 was an i/o bowrider that got my boys through their high school years.

My dad was a flat-out hillbilly from Dothan, AL and his nick name with very good reason was Gator Bait. He had some encounters with the toothy reptiles.

rip Dad.

Happy Father's Day, all. Make some fun memories with your kids. :)

best,
