This is a great opportunity to get some lessons that are very reasonable with one of the best instructors in the world and Scott Frost will also be there lending a hand. The cost is $50 for the pool school for 3 hours, this is a super deal. For players who are rated in AZ 7 and under which is a player of around a C rating the pool school will be from 12PM to 3PM. From 5PM to 8PM it will be for 8 rated (B players) and above to get some work done. There is a limit to the classes of 20 people so if you would like to get in you can PM me with your name and number and we will get you added to the list. For more info on Jerry go to his site. Thanks for looking. http://www.thepoolschool.com/

I'm assuming Corner Pockets is located in Arizona; not Florida. If so I can't go.:(

What a great opportunity! I hope plenty of people take advantage of this, its a great rate with a world class instructor.

If you live nearby do not miss the opportunity, my one and only formal lesson was with Jerry in Madison when I was already a pretty decent local-level player and was just looking to improve a bit more and get some nagging questions answered. He did that and more, super nice guy and great instructor!!!! I wish I could go, I need help again... :(

I'll be one of the first to say that this is a value that will be hard to match anywhere in the world.

Let me check the cost of flights from New Orleans to Phoenix. ;)

Lenny, you should try doing a Live Stream of this and have a commentator covering the lesson. Might be a bit of trouble but it could be fun, especially if it is 5-8 pm. That would probably be 3-6 CST though.....:(
and 2-5 EST. :frown:

Let us know if you decide to live stream it. It will be kind of early for me to check in and visit but I would try.

Thanks,

JoeyA

Joey, how are ya? I think live streaming is a bad idea unless they are not planning on doing anymore.

Anyone who thinks the Grand Canyon is Arizona's greatest treasure is asked to reconsider.

Jerry Briesath is not only a legendary instructor, but he is a great ambassador for pool, and a courteous, classy, man. Just meeting Jerry is worth the price of admission, so you can view anything you learn from this superstar of the pool teaching community as pure profit.

Throw in straight-shooting Scott Frost and this is an opportunity not to be missed!

True Sjm! Although, I don't know anyone that thinks the Grand Canyon is much of a treasure at all. Just a giant hole to me.

Jerry does regular lessons at Bullshooters in Phoenix and is in there all the time on the back table. He has camera's setup and does a fantastic job. Lately he's been popping into Sweet Tooth Billiards and watching some of the Alicandro challenges I've been putting on. Maybe if he stops in tonight I'll have him trade off on the mic with Mitch Ellerman or something.

I thank everyone for the kind words. This will be a great chance to improve your game and probably the best $50 you will spend pool wise.
I wont be streaming this though as I might be getting the lessons myself or in Vegas.

Jerry you need to go out and explore the beauty of this desert as this time of the year many of the native cactus only found in Arizona are in bloom.

Plus many other verities of cactus are putting on spring flowers shows.

Something you don't find in Wisconsin.

You have obviously stolen pictures of some of our New Orleanian plants.

I'll second what Scott said. I spent a weekend with Jerry in Madison 20 years ago when I was living in WI. It was money well spent! If you can go, don't miss out on this opportunity.
