I've found myself playing lately in a worn out pair of sneakers and I've noticed problems caused due to this in my game. Well long story short in thinking about this Ive wondered why there wasn't shoes made specifically for pool players I mean they do it for bowling and golf. Would love to know if someone had already doen this or at least considered it.

I suggest Addidas Stabils....I coach fencing as well as participate and we spend a great deal of time on our feet.

Addidas Stabils are a court shoe that have excellent cushioning.

They work on multiple surfaces .

Happy Feet?

when I'm really in gear......BAREFOOT so my toes can be happy and free :)
Hell it helps when the AC breaks and your socks start to soak through in this AWESOME southern humidity.

If my toes start wiggling then its game/set/match.....just something weird I do when I'm in dead stroke....kind of my version of the ring finger tap you see some players do on their bridge hand...I call that a SHOW Bridge....guess that means I got SHOW FEET!

go figure,

Ummm Tramp, I think he said pool shoes, not fool shoes.
I think I had a pair of those when disco was going strong.
Next time I go bowling, I'm stealing a pair that have the number 8 on them tho.

I like slidey shoes on carpet and a comfortable walking shoe for hard surfaces.I have yet to find the perfect shoes for playing pool.Sneakers on carpet make it hard to move around well and my feet tend to overheat when playing to long.

I would suggest that you wear a good gym shoe with good arch support. The only requirement would bethat they are comfortable and keep pressure off your back.

Grey, cut your toenalis lol, jk.

I try not to over analyze it and don't really think about it when playing. A good pair of running shoes, currently New Balance works for me.

Both my Feet are flatter than a Diamond Table with One Piece Slate, I have one REAL BUM Knee, and last X-Rays Show the other Knee is going in the same direction.

Wear a Brace on Each Knee, Inner Sole Support in the Shoes, pop too many Pill Daily for Pain, and Inflamination. Will see a Foot Expert Tomarrow to see if there is any way to make standing better.

If you do not have Foot, Ankle, or Knee Problems consider yourself lucky!

Hey Blue. Did you know that when a person is driving an old VW bus, the only thing between them and a head-on collision is their feet?
I think about stuff like that alot. :D

a few months ago I was at a tournament and this attractive gal was playing barefoot. She was wearing a nice dress but had heels on and just decided to kick those suckers off and go au natural. She looked like she had dressed to go out to a fancy restaurant and then discovered a pool tournament was going on and improvised.

I love playing barefoot at home, I just cant get myself to do it and feel comfortable in a pool room.
