I'm going to be having some t-shirts made shortly. I have three designs in mind. I created a poll to see which one the public likes the most. Once the design is picked, I will have them made in 8, 9, and 10 ball versions.

Also post if you have an interest in purchasing one when they are done. Cost would be approximately $15-$20 shipped.

What the others will look like in the 8 and 9 ball versions:

Had one made to see how it would come out.

Since you asked you have to be open to both negative and positive opinions.

In response to your question about interest in buying one. No. None of them really appeal to me. Sorry.

You should have a fourth option in your poll for those that would choose

X None

Fair enough.

I didn't vote. I personally don't like the idea or the design. Even with a great design, it still wouldn't work for me either.

I would rather give you an honest opinion then see you spend a bunch of money on something that won't sell. If you do decide to print them, I wish you luck in selling them.

I hate to be a jerk, but maybe shelve this one and keep thinking of ideas.

If I had to pick, it's gotta be 2.
1 is overexplaining it. 3 underexplains it.

I could press these for you. IMHO though, I don't get it either. Is it like a beer-thirty joke? I don't think it's clear-cut enough to come off as a good design.

Could do a clock face using balls that says ' time for pool ' but that's till a bit corny.

Yes it's like beer thirty. I thought it would make a funny shirt for pool players. Like what time is it.....its such and such thirty. Because were always thinking about pool. Guess I have a strange sense of humor?

I get it, but not everything can translate into a successful t-shirt.
Personally, I thought the AZ rep t-shirt was pretty dumb, but everyone voted on it. I wonder how many they have sold compared "cooler" t-shirts?

??????????

You might want to get back to the drawing board, you can do better. Did Ralph give you this idea????

Nope, the idea was all mine. I did find it somewhat humerous so I figured I would see if there was any interest. I understand that thus far there has been plenty of "constructive" criticism. I've have seen, so far, plenty of nays. I have some votes on the poll, so some people may find it funny and worthy of producing. :o I'd like to see some posts from people who would be interested or even like one of them enough to like to see it to fruition.

I didn't get it unitl you explained and I don't think they would sell. I do think you should continue trying to make your million.

Hmmm

I love pool shirts, and buy'em anytime I see a good one. I love buying from tourney's I play in if they are good. So I think I know a good shirt when I see one. These my friend are NOT good shirts. But a lot of bad ideas turn into good ideas. Go back to the drawing board and try something else.
I would hate to see you spend too much dough trying to peddle these things. It looks like the response to these have been luke warm at best to not liking the design at all. The design and/or idea is not original.
This in my honest opinion. But heck, I've been known to be wrong quite often as well !!!

Don't give up a9ball. Let the nay sayers nay, and the scoffers scoff. What do they know.
Have they never dreamed a dream. Have they never gazed upon the ripening beauty of a western sunset and thought how totally cool it would look on a T-shirt? Have they never gazed upon the unspoiled beauty of a virgin forest and wondered how pianos were made?
Stay true to youself young a9ball. Even though your T-shirt idea may suck like a Hoover Deluxe, which it does by-the-way, hold tight to the idea that somehow, someway, someday, you will succeed.
Your friend, TS. :D
