Hi folks, havn't been around for a while, had some family illness to contend with. But, anyway, I finally have my new 9 footer set up, and thought I'd post a few pics of it finished.
Quarter sawn white oak, Figured bubbinga rail tops, 231 cnc inlays .150 thick, 1 1/4" brass pinned Italian slate, Artimis rubber, The pattern in the body is not just milled in, it is all cope and pattern, (stile and rail, like a true cabinet door). 20 individual milled pieces in each leg.

Having a bit of a time getting the pictures to attatch, but I think this will work.
I have built two of these tables, the other is just like this one, but the inlays are a bit different.
Going to work on getting the new pics on my website.

Man ...

That is nice, real nice. A real nice classy look to it. Not too much, but just enough. You did a great job. Would love to see it in person, and play on it, of course .... LOL

Wow! I'm stunned. That is a beautiful table! You have every right to be proud of it and proud of your abilities as a craftsman and artisan. May you enjoy it for many, many years.

You spent all that time on the table when you could have been playing pool.

Just kidding, man that' s a super table, Great job!!!!!!!!

That is a nice looking table. I'm sure it will be around for 100's of years. Johnnyt

Thanks to all.
I am proud, Took quite a bit of thought, planning and drawing, not to mention the work itself, lol. I'm very pleased with the result. Have to get to work on the rest of my basement!
Have built 5 tables in the past, have a couple more in the planning stages
Getting some of the updated pics on my site, here is a link if you want to see

Man O Man

That is just awesome. How many hours would you estimate that you poured your heart into this great looking table?

"Thanks MTV for pimpin my pool table!"

That's awesome. Seems like a tight room, though. But man, that table is awesome.

-yow!

Thanks again to everyone.
And, Hours? Hard to tell, over a year and a half, probably 300 or so. lol.
And I appologize for the room, that is my unfinished basement that I am in progress, put tile under the table, will be tight carpet around it. Will be cabinetry to match the table, with cue rack and light to match as well, and the room? the closest wall when finished will be 68". I'll post when all finished, hopefully by late fall, we'll see, I have to make a living first, lol.

Gorgeous

Similar to A.E. Schmit that you wee in Dave & Busters. Can't imagine the price of this baby.

Andy, that is absolutely a showcase table!!!! Wish I could afford something like that....I would almost be willing to build a whole new house around it!!..Lol.

Truly a work of art, and an obvious labor of love....superb!:D
