Pool tournament@Casino= Warning!!

I jerked off in my truck one time between matches.

No one showed up with cuffs.

Good to know that's still considered a wholesome activity on reservation.

LOL gotta love all the "were being watched" posts on the internet these day. its always the ones that have something to hide that get all bent out of shape about it. they can count the freckles on my ass with their hd cameras for all I care.

That's because the feds put it on Youtube, and it's up to about 10,000,000 view by now.
Whacking off on an Indian reservation is still a federal offense.

Of course, smoking pot is still illegal by federal law (in the US), but let's be real. Most of those folks gambling in the casino are using nicotine, alcohol, caffeine, meth, coke, Ritalin, pot or any of a whole host of legal and illegal drugs.

The casinos just don't want you to get caught. By now most everyone knows that there are a zillion surveillance cameras watching us...

nicotine , alcohol and caffeine are legal. LOL Don't get wrong.. smoking pot should be legal. Sadly in most states it isn't. So you can't cry foul when they bust you for it

this has bothered me since you posted it. cause it's BS - it's called ENTRAPMENT. regardless of what one is doing/not doing. and apparently it's reality.

thank you again, for the thread.

That isn't entrapment...being positioned to monitor the premises and apprehend/ prosecute criminals are definitions of....

Security.

Entrapment is giving an individual the means to violate the law, then busting him for doing so.

Kind of reminds me of the people that oppose red light cameras, they run red lights but don't want to get caught doing it.--Smitty

Hmmm?? Maybe you should start warning the players that they are being,,"Spied on"" while they are in the parking lot.
I have never heard of any place that is like this. With cameras powerful enough to tell what kind of cigarette you are smoking. Or as you open the glove box,,they are looking for something illegal.

I think that is pushing it a bit too far.
When I heard the story I wasn't jumping on the wagon,,about these cameras. But I did find information to back it up. And it's a bit shocking to me. Maybe it's just me that thinks this is odd.

We're Not being spied on ... we're being protected from you law breakers who are being spied on!

Somewhat off topic, but the only thing criminal about pot are the laws against it.

And what pray tell is criminal about under age drinking, littering, spitting on the sidewalk, robbing a bank, insurance fraud and on and on.... besides the laws against them?

Its called living in our society (which unfortunately is slowly being flushed down the toilet by moral decay)

Without going into too many details: the stories about reading the mint marking on a coin are absolutely bullshit if you're talking about the parking lot.

The fixed cameras over gaming tables DO have ridiculous resolution, and can look at details on bills (or even coin if one was on a table), but most cameras in a casino are not fixed cameras, they are motion cameras able to be turned, pointed, zoomed in various directions, etc. The quality is decent, but by no means is it crystal clear enough to read serial numbers, etc.

As for the casino security knowing what was in your truck...duh. They have cameras everywhere, and bored guys sitting in security watching the parking lot feeds (security watches the lot, surveillance watches everything indoors). Some guy sat and watched you guys firing up a joint. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what people are doing. Gee...I see lighter flashes and a bunch of smoke coming out the cracked window...maybe they are sending smoke signals to our tribe?!

Edit:

My buddy was head of security at a Casino here in town. He said they could read license plates at the other Casino a mile away. This was 1999ish. I'm sure the cameras are better now.

 Where do people come up with this stuff??

Apparently people believe casinos install telescopes instead of cameras.

Colorado law states that marijuana cannot be smoked "openly and publicly", meaning no lighting up in restaurants, on the pavement or even in your car so its not even legal there so be careful

I have a friend that goes to the pool room here who used to be a DEA agent. He said they could fly 1500 - 2000 feet above your vehicle in a chopper and read a cigarette pack on your dash.....while you're going 70 mph.

We had a camera in the back of our club that recorded ALL license plates that came or went 24 hours a day.....casinos have the same technology and probably more. They will give this information to law enforcement on occasion, and will help police look for certain criminals by sharing this info......this isn't a standard practice, but definitely happens if they are looking for someone that has been identified at the casino.....or in the area.

I guess he lied to me then, although I don't know why he would. I sure as hell didn't make it up.
