Pool Wars by Jay Helfert

I thought Playing off the Rail was pretty good. I've read most pool books by or about players. Now, if only there was a re-release of Hall's Rags to Rifleman. This is one I've never read and the prices on Amazon are astronomical.

Yep, that would be great.

Also, it would be great to have a consistent, readable font.

Where can I get a copy of this? Or if anyone has a copy, and doesnt have playing off the rail, interested in a swap for a a few weeks?

Would rather own a copy though. :) Jay where is it available for sale?

From my website, jayhelfert.com

Jay....I am the "borrower" of the book from KK9, (Wendy will get it back today when Matt and I meet to play) and it was great! Loved all the history. It is written very well and is easy to read. I will be ordering my own copy for my growing pool related collection from your website. Any way I can get a signed copy? Thanks again for a great read!!

Jay - i have no-oooo returned book. i got some excuse like: my dog left it in his kennel. please don't sign anything for Jimmy, till we get it back?
:D
oooh! or send Jimmy's signed copy to ME - that'll get it back real quick!

There's one on Ebay for $90, buy-it-now. Not very good condition but readable.

Tony signed my copy of POOR and wrote..... Don't believe everything you read... it was a lot worse.

I was lucky enough to get an autographed copy a few years back at the DCC

Great read!

Got my copy last week (signed to my name, not sure if they all are) read through it in a few days between work and kids and I couldn't hardly put it down. I thought it was GREAT! Thanks Jay for the book and the history, hope there is more stories to come some day!
