Murray doesn't really have a waiting list. He makes cues when time and inspiration are available. He doesn't typically take 'orders' either...preferring to build what he likes at the time. He does not quote build times either...it gets done when it gets done. Many cannot live with that...but he is completely upfront about it.
His family and business come first and foremost...making cues is secondary.

I'm out of the shop till November. Once I get back I have to focus on a couple of cues that I should have finished a long time ago. Then I will step back and re evaluate my position on cues. Not sure which direction I will head.
If I had a Boat, a Camper , golf cart, Great Fishing , Great Kids( I got Those) the last place you would ever find me in the Summer is in the Shop. Now go catch a fish!
Fall air kinda has the smell of BRW .
Hey, if one has the ability to go on a 'walkabout', why not?! Life is definitely far too short not to take advantage of it when it presents itself!! :smile:

Not that you need me to tell you anything, but life is too short to not be happy. I know you have a passion for cues. Make them at your own pace. Take a few years off. Whatever makes YOU happy.

I understand completely, and I have no time constraints, or cue requirements (well maybe a couple like weight and 3 shafts)...But, I'd be proud to have anything from a simple sneaky up to a 6 point veneered, ivory inlayed, ivory jointed, and anything else that he'd like to do...kinda cue!
He's the master, I just want one in my collection to admire for many many years to come! And to know that I've got one of the best cues ever built !!!

Mine is the one on the bottom.
Here is one of mine it was Murray's player in '04 got the case too! Murray changed the LBM Ferrule to Ivory for me so it has 2 Ivory and 1 Yellow Micarta Ferrules I also changed the Bumper to KU Brunswick Brown Bumper! Plays great...

Here is another TCW.I was fortunate to own this one.Brazillian Rosewood into nicely figured Birdseye Maple.Ivory joint,Hoppe ring and before Murrays "white wall design" polished weight bolt. Big pin too.The first cue that Murray made in 2008.Enjoy the pics.
