Prayers for Eydie

She'd shoot me if she knew I was doing this but...so be it.

For the 3rd time in 2 yrs (the last two happened within the last 6 mo) Eydie was rear-ended. She's had back & neck problems from the other wrecks and this one has put her in the hospital for a couple of days while they evaluate her back condition and decide a course of treatment. Otherwise, she is ok and so is Bob and another friend that was in the car.

They were sitting at a red light when someone simply ran into the back of them. Eydie JUST got her "new" (04) car two, maybe three weeks ago. :( The car isn't totaled but there's extensive damage and we all know a lot of cars are never the same after being wrecked.

Please keep Eydie in your thoughts and prayers.
 
I will most definitely keep Eydie in my thoughts and prayers....that has just got to suck!! Poor thing!:(

Perhaps it's time for her to consider a jacked-up 4x4 p/u truck....at least then, the cars can go under her, instead of into her!:eek:

Damn!! Had that happen on the way to work one morning about three years ago. Guy dropped his coffee mug and was groping for it and not looking. Lucky for all of us, he was going real slow and was pretty close when it happened. My wife was rear-ended by a drunk driver at a red light in 1990 and will never work again. She still has a bunch of pain, daily.

Here on AZB, our thoughts are always with Eydie, who is, quite simply, one of the classiest people on AZB. On this occasion, though, she's even more in our thoughts than usual and we hope she is OK and that she will quickly return to full physical health.

That's awful to hear... :( I hope the fastest and smoothest recovery to Eydie ! She and Bob are definitely the most frendliest people around here.

And good luck to Timberly ducking the bullets from Eydie... ;)

that really stinks.. nothing worse then pain and suffering caused by somebody elses neglegence...

Eydie! Talk about getting bad rolls! And I was looking forward to riding in that Jag in Chicago too, lol. You know my heart and thoughts are with you and hope above all that you have no lasting problems in your back or neck.

I called and left you a message. Get well soon! :)

Meanwhile, here is a pretty bouquet for you to sniff while you are in the hospital.

Feel better soon Eydie, back pain is something I'm familiar with and wish yours goes away quickly :)
