Just got home from playing pool for 10 hours. Another observation about the chalk I'm selling; my hands are staying cleaner. Also, I've been using it about a week now and it seems to be getting used up less quickly. Everything is pointing in the direction of it being the real deal.
Also, I think I have found a reputable volunteer to try it out and post his conclusions. Stay tuned for a week or so.

I am starting to get a little interest now. I'm going to try to get $25 for a box of 12. This includes shipping to the lower 48.

I am interested, but I believe that your price is still way too high.

Forgive me for playing posting police here, but this is the
'Wanted/For Sale' section and it is not considered acceptable
to criticize prices in public posts.
If you care - and I am sure you don't - I happen to have quite
a bit of pre-flag, and I wouldn't consider selling it for the price
he is asking - but I use it myself, so maybe that shapes my attitude.

I'm still trying to figure out the right pricing. I've seen many threads where the price was $2 per cube in small quantities. So I figured $25 for a box of 12 to include shipping was about right. Maybe not. Now I can definitely see where the original asking price of $270 for a gross was out of kilter. Like I said, still trying to figure it out. I'm getting interest, but nothing solid yet and I don't know how much of that has to do with pricing and how much of it has to do with me not having a reputation here yet. But I am open to offers and suggestions and I have decided to go ahead and sell single 12-cube boxes for people that only want that much. I might just have to rely on eBay to alleviate the reputation situation. But, as I said, a reputable AZ may be able to give feedback about the chalk itself in the near future. In the mean time at least ebay gives the buyer protection. Unfortunately, their rates seem to have gone up - looks like about 9% now. I might just throw up a few auctions for single 12-cube boxes for now. My user name on eBay is fatspazz. I have been on eBay for four years. My feedback rating is 23, most of which is from sales, and some of those transactions are for pool related items. I am a pool player.
I myself am liking the pre-flag better than the post-flag, but I'd rather sell it and have the money.

Another note about authenticity. Almost all of these 12-cube boxes have grey box bottoms. All of the ones from the complete case have the grey box bottoms. There are six other loose 12-cube boxes that have tan box bottoms. In every other way though, even the six with the tan bottoms look just as old as the rest.
Another note, I won't sell less than a 12-cube box. No individual cubes please.

I have made a couple sales now and have a couple more pending. Thank you for the purchases and the offers. Pricing seems to be shaking out like this (prices include Paypal fees and shipping).
One box of 12 = $25
Two to six boxes of 12 = $20 per box
I will consider any offer though.

I just discovered that the USPS Priority flat rate shipping boxes are good anywhere in the US, so Hawaii and Alaska are in now.
