I tried couple days ago a Predator chalk, I didn't feel that it is better than Master chalk. I tried a Balabushka chalk and I think it is softer than Master.
I'll keep playing with Master.

Now that I think about it for the past 14 years all I ever used was masters I never even attempted to try any other chalk until a few weeks ago.

The shape of it is not new, its only about 100 years old I have some old Manhattan Club chalk that has 8 sides, i have used it, funny its 100+ years old and looks new(wrapper looks old).

I'm glad someone came along with this shape, i have used it a little (just for a few minutes) and from what i can tell i like it. I wish Kamui was this shape. It wouldn't tend to crack on the sides as much, or make it round, they did that also 100 years ago.

Big-Tattoo(Ralf) gave me a piece last (of Chalk) Sunday, We were testing out a PILE of cues and I really liked it then, but i havent played with it yet long enough to know how it will be, I LOVE the shape,

So i'm going out tonight to play with it for a couple hours. That was very nice of him. I dont like Blue Diamond cause it makes my hands sticky, I been a Master guy forever. Kamui is good too i use it as well. So i'm looking forwards to playing with it now that i have a piece. I was going to take one at M-Cup but it belonged to MD and I forgot to ask him and wouldnt take his chalk without asking-not cool at all.

Same here. Ive tired Kamui and liked it except the not chalking all the time part. I can chalk every time with the Predator chalk and keep a good amount on the tip reducing my miscues to barely any. Its not messy and after using the Predator chalk I don't like Masters anymore. Just seems too dry, flaky and messy. Oh and I love the shape of it

Balabuska chalk is very soft and works well.
But every time I used it my hand turned blue like a Smurf. I put it back in the case and have been using Triangle with good results.

I'm sold on the predator chalk as well. I was a pre flag guy, tried them all except Kamui. (I won't cough up 25-30 bucks for a cube. Its not the money it's the principal. Also, I played a guy at the SBE this year that was using kamui and what a damn mess it made. (Literally clumps of chalk on whitey) The predator seems smoother than what I'm used to and I have had zero miscues with it after a few months. I could take or leave the shape but I really like the chalk.

Like I said a few pages ago I have not fouled on a jump shot since I been using this new chalk.
