no, just a realist.
Did anyone watch this? I tuned in a minute or two and lost interest. All I was seeing was Filler thinking to himself "I gave up the big crowds at Hanoi for this empty ballroom".
i watched. high quality play, fedor won. took like 10 games for either of them to miss a ball. the 9b and 10b may be more interesting.
I had trouble watching it for long, couple with the audio problems on the stream. Likewise I think the 9 and 10 ball will be great.
I love the event itself, but in my opinion, the commentary has been uniformly terrible, with a lot of inaccurate analysis of the play and very few nuanced observations about angle management and tactical decision making.
Matchroom seems to have all the good commentators these days.

Britllish dun bother me except when they state the score as __Leading by__ #games to #games. Mikaela Tabb would always announce the score in those terms. Drives me crazy.

I think at least one of the commentators was remote. That can't help.
he won the 3rd set 4-1 after winning 2nd set 4-3. played good. i was elated, can't stand filler.
And sounded like he was talking through an old can and string setup.
