Presenting the... 2009 West Coast Cue Show

I'm taking two sneakies, a test hit cue and my version of the Black Beauty (still on epoxy coat so you can try it ) .
Come try BNall's mild dud tip. I will have one on capped melamine ferrule and one on uncapped melamine with carbon fiber backing.
 
Tommie1351 is bringing a bunch of GREAT CUES to sell.......Hope everone has a blast, maybe I can make the trip in 2010.

Jim Baxter sent me two very cool full spliced cues by DBK. They will be available for test hitting. Would love to get some feedback/reviews on these. The shaft wood is very cool and the craftsmanship is top notch splice work!

Jim also sent me some very nice sets of Joint Protectors for the show as well! Don't miss out on the free raffle prizes!
 
I want to thank EVERYONE for offering me display space if I came to the cue show. I cant make it, Travelling is very hard on me still(the back thing:rolleyes:) and I still havent recovered enough from the US OPEN, If I flew in tomarrow morning I would have no choice but to go to my uncles house and lay down for the day before I could go do anything. Also $$$ is a issue(yes thats the truth, I'm running cold).

I thought I could come up today and be ok but I had a few problems and my uncle in Tracy is going to play darts tonight. I want to go see Joes new room in Modesto, see Mike Mitchell and spend the night at his house like I did back in the day, and visit his cue collection. We been cue collector buddies since about 87.


I sincerly appericate everyones generosoty and friendship, I mean that sincerly. I dont have any family except my uncle, so friends are triple important to me. I would have been going there to see people not cues. Again thanks to everyone and have a great time, first round is on me:wink:

He had some great cues! I was not there very long. Just time enough to hit with a Koo Cue.. Try saying Kenny Koo's Cues 3 times fast...

I would have liked to hang out a bit more.

I had a great time guys. I will post a lot pics tomorrow. Rex and Dj thanx for letting me display on your table and just being cool people. Picked me up a nice Cocker forearm full splice blank. Great turn out and had a blast. Got to meet some makers I have never met before and meeting Jay Helfert was cool too. Next year I need to bring more dough though.........Cheers! Duane

You ask and you shall recieve...

The only thing is the cue is with Rick Howard for repairing the butt. It accidentally cracked after missing a shot... Not my best moment!

Great looking cue man! don't sweat it i was almost that guy one day (slammed my cue way harder than i should have)

when's the next time you're going to crown? we should hit some around.

Anybody hit some balls with a Joey cue? If so what did you think of the milk duds on them? It sounds like everyone had a great time. Also was Richard Chudy there, always liked the look of his cues. Thanks for any info. Lets see some pics of Azers & cuemakers.

Jeff,

Joey never show today. He couldn't sleep last night and that would be danger to drive on the road, so he stay home.
