President Doesn't Salute During National Anthem

Bush is a loser and is the worst President America has ever had. Bar none.
Anyone who EVER votes Republican really needs to ask themselves what the hell they are thinking. The Republicans have always been about protecting the rich and the special interests and have NEVER done anything to help the average person.

Correct, that is why my dad was a democrat and poor and I am a republican and rich. Hows your nose feel pressing against the glass looking in?????

Republican and rich- that says it all. I don't
think there's a hell of a lot of difference at
the national level but the lack of compassion
the Republicans show for the common working
man is appalling. I split my ticket but I vote
more democrat because I don't think they'll
hurt me as bad.

Republicans Hate Social Securiety

many of us have paid into FICA for years and are now receiving a
Social Security check every month -- and then finding that we are getting
taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the federal government to "put away,"
you may be interested in the following:

Q: Which party took Social Security from an independent fund and put it
in the general fund so that Congress could spend it?
A: It was Lyndon Johnson and the Democratic-controlled House and Senate.

Q: Which party put a tax on Social Security?
A: The Democratic party.

Q: Which party increased the tax on Social Security?
A: The Democratic Party with Al Gore casting the deciding vote.

Q: Which party decided to give money to immigrants?
A: That's right, immigrants moved into this country and at 65 got SSI
Social Security. The Democratic Party gave that to them although they
never paid a dime into it.

Then, after doing all this, the Democrats turn around and tell you the
Republicans want to take your Social Security.

And the worst part about it is, people believe this.

The most recent .06 per gallon gasoline tax, passed by Al Gore's deciding vote, doesn't hurt the "Rich" but it is killing some "Poor" people who must drive to get to work. Yea, the Democrats really care about the "Poor", right.

We should really dump this ridiculous post. Politicians do not get into politics to do good things anymore. If our officials were forced to live on what they ask a large portion of our countries retired and disabled persons to live on for even a year. You'd see great reforms before that year's end. Republican or Democrat or Other, they all carry a one-word definition. CROOK.

Politicians are all full of it, and their word and promises are equally worthless.

But, don't worry: Play pool !! :p

A strong central government was the key fear of the founders of the USA.

Jefferson and ilk warned us to be vigiliant against rulers.

George Washington warned to 'not become involved in entangling alliances'...in other words, don't get into overseas wars, act only in defense.

The 'so called' small government Republicans have expanded state spending at a higher rate that democrats in their past 4 administrations. Bush now sets the all time record for increasing federal state funding.

The democrats and republicans are essentially moving the US towards socialism and totalitarianism just in slightly different ways.

If you haven't studied the federalist papers, then you know little about what the US is, or is supposed to be. Saluting a national flag would have been abhorent to the founding fathers.

The pledge of allegiance was the creation of a socialist in 1892.

Very interesting post!! Thank you for the information. I don't necessarily agree with everything you say but I sure do enjoy reading it anyway. It certainly gives me something to ponder!
