Pro Buys Poolhall In Wheeling, WV

John was in our pool room in Charlotte tonight. I talked with him for a little while, and he seemed pretty excited at the new business opportunity.

I hope this works out real well for all involved.

It was good to meet you John and I wish you all the luck in the world. If you need anything don"t hesitate to ask as long as I have enough oxygen:

This is great news. Congratulations John!

More pool players should become pool room owners. It's not for everyone but it can make for a consistent revenue stream.

It would also be a pretty cool feeling to walk in the door.. take in the scene... and think "holy cow! This is MY pool hall!" I'd be thrilled to the core and amazed at my good fortune, and I'd better feel grateful or risk losing it. Gratitude is the key... every day.

2 shots a hole? Did you really make your fingers move to type that???

Make a one pock game fool..... Better pool than golf for you.

no need to go through all that.
we have tried to make a game many
times just cant seem to make 1 we both like.

I wouldn't give a quadruple amputee 2 shots a hole (unless it was Jack Daniels!).

Best of fortune John with your acquisition!

Professional pool player, John Schmidt will be making the move from Florida to the Ohio Valley to takeover existing poolhall "The S-Bridge." It's great news for locals as John will be recovering the tables and bringing in another table to add to the already 7 diamonds. Might I add that John is a very nice, easy to talk to guy. He asks for opinions and keeps an open mind. We're happy to have you... welcome to Wheeling! S-Bridge address: 818 McColloch St. Wheeling, WV 26003 phone: 304-232-1558 Known for our famous steak sandwich

Thanks for the info. I got an article out on this, and a promotion for the S-Bridge. Even quoted you in there. :)

Good luck John. Being the outdoorsy person you are, you should love it there. Beautiful area.

The outdoorsy stuff that John likes is golf and dirt bikes, lol. I wouldn't think the hills of W. Va are going to allow for much of either (if any at all) during the winter months.

Honestly, my first thought was that he is going to hate the weather. I also think his dream come true (owning a pool room) will outshine his dislike for the cold winters.

Once again, congrats to John.

DC6....John's already done 3 of his list of "To Do" items, we hit the golf range thursday, gun range friday, dirt bikes saturday lol...needed a break from all the work we've been doing.

Got 3 tables covered this weekend, rest of them next week. John practiced 14.1 saturday on 8ft w/new cloth ran 120....again on sunday ran 141

Bring your clubs for grand opening....lots of courses here.

Did the runs occur from the opening break, or just after he made a first ball?
