Fara Palazzolo is from Windsor Ont Canada

AND

Shin Park is from Seoul

Eydie, Thanks for the reply....No wonder I never heard of these 2 players - I was thinking they were players from somewhere in the U.S. - I'm forgetting how global this whole IPT thing is.

Wiseman Wins Against Park!!!

This was the very best in pool, hosted at Pro-Tyme. The event, equipment and staff were a total class act.

Wiseman was ahead over Park 6-3, then Park won the next 2 games to make it 6-5 then the match went 7-5 Wiseman, then Park one 1 game making it 7-6 and Wiseman won the next 3 for the match.

Congratulations Ronnie, job well done!

Final Comment.....

Ok, all... This is the last post for this event.

As I type, there is still plenty of action going on with Sarah Rousey, Tina Larsen, Jeff Beckley, Piggy Banks, Shin Park, Shawn Wilke, Joey Gold, Mark Jarvis, Richie Idrovo and Bob Romano.
..Roger Griffis is passed out on the couch, it's a real kodak moment and I don't have a camera :(

All the tables are going and it's a great ending to a wonderful weekend of non stop action.

Reno is just a short time away and it should be a class act. I am extreemly proud of all that participated in this event. It was very tense at times to play under pressure as this, a lot at stake as we all know.

A very special Thank you to Pro-Tyme Billiards www.protymebilliards.com for hosting this amazing event.

Good luck and good shooting to all in Reno!

Eydie .... OUT! :D

Wow, when I saw Jam's message earlier about Jerry and
Ronnie playing each other I thought she was seeing in the
future. Sad for Jerry but what a match it must have been.
Thanks again Eydie for the great coverage, hugs and best
of luck with the rest of the tourney

I thought Ronnie was going to play Jerry Slivka next, but it turned out Ronnie had to play a young'n from Canada, whom he beat, and Jerry played Luat. Eyewitnesses stated Jerry played well all weekend, but this Luat match ended on the hill-hill. Jerry was left with three easy balls on the table for the win, but he missed, allowing Luat to advance.

The match between Ronnie and Luat was all Wiseman. He came out of the gate with 4 before Luat got a chance to break. Luat broke for the first time in the match, and the cue-ball flew off the table. Ronnie then steamrolled his way forward with 3 more game wins. A few back-and-forths transpired between the two veterans, but Lady Luck dealt Ronnie a winner with Ronnie getting to 10 and Luat only rising to 4. Go Mr. Wiseman!

Ronnie must have been on a roll at this juncture as he beat Shin Parks, 10 to 6 for the IPT qualifier win! Good luck to you in Reno, Ronnie!

Thanks to Eydie for all the GREAT updates. I wouldn't have known what happened and who won if it weren't for you and other AzBilliards' members. At the time of this writing, 3:37 a.m., EST, the IPT website has not been updated. THIS is why AzBilliards rocks!:)
